Totally enjoyable!
Revisado: 11-05-23
I love a good mystery, cats and am not bound by the concept that a good story must be confined by reality. I love the message this story conveys and the entertaining way it is brought about. Susan Boyce did a top notch job as narrator.

Blue and I sit in the cockpit of a sailboat. My eyes scan the open ocean while female Peshmerga fighters sleep all around me—below deck, across benches on the bow, and one curled up on the stern.

HOLY MOLY!!!!
Revisado: 08-07-23
I LOVE this series. Ms. Kimelman is a master at character development and weaving a gripping story. I love that the woman is one strong lady with a dog that does not die. I am sitting on pins and needles for Book 16 to be released in audiobooks. Sonja Field is a great narrator as well.

Wow!
Revisado: 08-02-21
Another riveting trilogy by Emily Kimelman. This series is anything but predictable and keeps you wanting more. The way she broke it up by character keeps the reader abreast of what each is thinking & feeling as they work towards the climax of the story. It ends setting up the next book and lures the reader towards the next in the series. I look forward to finding out what path Sidney & the rest take next.

Deep. Great performance.
Revisado: 04-24-17
Would you consider the audio edition of The Stone of Farewell to be better than the print version?
It may have been easier to have the print version to lookup the parts I wanted to re-read because I didn't get it all the first time through some parts.
What about Andrew Wincott’s performance did you like?
Andrew Wincott's performance is stellar. Hard to go beyond that. He's awesome.
Any additional comments?
The story is deep and has many moving parts. Listening to this audio book required me to pay much closer attention. There were times the author switched voice and I had to go back and re-listen because I didn't catch the switch. That aside, its a good story with a great performance.

It grows on you!
Revisado: 08-04-16
The first book was slow to get me interested. It was a little tough to follow at first. I stick with it and was not disappointed.
This second book took off the day after the first one ended. Part way through this book I realized there is more to it than the surface story line. It is about coming of age and finding out things about yourself that you never suspected. It is about learning and taking time to make the kind of mistakes that allow you to really master yourself and your craft. Look beyond the first layer of the storyline and you will not be disappointed.
