The narrator sounds like a robot using autotune.

I really wanted to enjoy hearing these poems being read, but the narrator sounds so strange and robotic sometimes that I can't focus on the words.

it is also frustrating that there is not an index or any way to find a specific poem. Something in the book is numbered but I have no idea if it's the poems themselves? And if so, why emphasize the numbers? I'd rather have the titles emphasized.

Really bummed.

It held a lot of promise. Sadly it did not deliver. I've made to halfway point. Going to try to finish it. I think the writing is thin, characters are under-developed and act erratically. Performance is also lacking.

Tina Fey is hilarious, and does not dissapoint!

Would you consider the audio edition of Bossypants to be better than the print version?

Absolutely. In fact I think reading in print would be so much less enjoyable.

Tina herself

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could have, I would have.

It's like sitting with a fantastically witty friend when you listen. I frequently laughed out loud during her stories. What a treat!

Would you listen to The Desire Map Experience again? Why?

Only if i were able to fast forward through the irritating music that plays every so often.

What aspect of Danielle LaPorte’s performance would you have changed?

I would take out that awful music. I would also like it if she uses regular pronunciation of words. I got used to it after a while, but at first it was very distracting.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Starting with core desired feelings, not the actual items on the to-do list. It really is great content.

Wish I had a workbook that coincided with this!

What made the experience of listening to The Servant Leadership Training Course the most enjoyable?

It's very unusual in the self-help audio book to be entertained and sucked in... but I was from the first few minutes. I didn't want to have to turn it off.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Servant Leadership Training Course?

His discussion on the ultimate servant leader and teacher, Jesus.

What does James C. Hunter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His personality and witty character. He's the "real deal."

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did chuckle a few times.

Any additional comments?

Could possibly use some editing - there have been a few places where I think he was meaning to use one word but used another, or repeated phrases or didn't seem very clear. It reduces the professionalism, but only by a margin. He has great delivery.

I wish there were worksheets or downloads to go with this!!
