just love the series

I may have been slightly impartial about my rateing. I rated not for the latest book but also for the consistency in 17 adventures and the development of the characters over time. It is hard to keep one's self motivated to over this long of a period without getting stale.

I alos love the voice of WTK as Shelby...

I would love to meet this chap one day. He moved into my top 5 list out of nowhere...

His sincerity, delivery (especially his sarcastic laugh), the story and the clarity the "what" and "the how" was so impactful that I had to listen to it a second time when I finished. The first time I have ever restarted a book as soon as I finished and I have listed to more than 500 books.

If I could rate mote than 5 stars I definately would.

What a great adventure

I refrain from talking about the storyline when I write a review. I only usually mention how I feel or how the book made me feel....

Anyway I took a chance and purchased it when I read the summarry. And I am so glad that I did because the author took me on a roller coaster of emotions throughout thr story. It is good to feel human every now and then I guess.

I also think Scott Brick was perfect choice for this book.

best one in the series

Last year I remember thinking that Book 7 was the best in the series. This year I think it is book 8. These series just keeps getting better. I just wonder how is this possible every time.
Scott Brick and Gregg Hurwitz collaboration is a home run. I read the reviews about Candy. I definately agree things are a lot more fun when she is around. But I have to say Tommy character is just as good and even better.
Why wouldnt they make the TV series and who should play Orphan X. I would love to (hahaha). If it ever comes out Scott Brick should be the voice of Tommy. One line about the negative review I read about him; the man is successful, he is great at what he does, he probably made a lot of money from narrating. So? All well deserved. haters hate get over it :)
Thank you mr Hurwitz for dreaming of this character.

I just love Heathcliff Lennox and Ex Detective Swift. The flow, the twists and turns and the characters are just wonderful. And Sam Dewhurst Phillips has a lot to to with that. I even went back and relistened the first book again recently. Just as much fun as the first time.

Great narration great writing...

each book as the characters are developing is getting better. And I love George Blagden as the narrator. He is excellent as William Warrick as well.

Bendict Brown does not dissapoint. Worth every penny

Just awful narrating

I have to say that I loved the first two books. And I had been looking forward to this installment.

I thought the first two books were better than Jack Widow and even Jack Reacher (lately)... Jeff Harding gave the character a confident and trustworthy feel. I am sorry to say that the new narrator is whispering which makes it so hard to follow and therefore the character lack the confidence and cravery. And sometimes he has the female voice when a male character is speaking and vs vs.

Very dissapointed...

I have been reading and listening to Sir Archer since the 80,s... I hope he lives to be 150and tell great many stories. If you want to start a great series, you this is it. It is lilely that you will finish all 4 books in one week.

I almost want to rate these 5 star even before I listen to them. At the end the author gives behind the scenes review of where the story takes place and gives further insights to that area and to that era. William Warrick did an excellent job narrating as usual.
