Mostly a good book

I lol at the part where a ten age girl was apparently SA ing a group of teenaged young men lol. I know the author was trying to keep all things even but man I laughed hard at that.

This was a solid four star book for me, I like that it was written from a culture that I’m not extremely familiar with. It had some minor issues but overall I would recommend it.

The most emotional book written by a man.

The Most emotional book written by a man that I’ve ever read. Everybody cry’s in this book there more crying than there are fights, probably more crying than there is chapters. With all that being said it’s a decent book, with some unpredicted twists. Be prepared to sing Kumbaya with the emotional battle mage lol.

Worth listening to

The book is good overall, yet there are some problems. First the protagonist is supposed to be a hardened criminal even killed a couple of people yet his character shows none of that, he is goofy and good natured.

Second there are large gaps where he fights people and monsters and gets no level up or points. All in all a decent book and worth the read if you can get over those two issues so far. I’m only on book 3 so we’ll see how it goes.

This book was spent developing his apprentices.

Look many people didn’t like this book because the story arc took a hold while the spell mongers apprentices where developed. More people didn’t like it because they felt that Tendall got the short end of the stick. I’m in neither category I thought this was a good book and it needed to happen. Tendall was already a good and bold fighter, Rondo or Rondol was not. Tendall needed book smarts and Rondo needed to be more sure of himself. The threesome at the end was unexpected though lol.
