Male Narrator is so annoying!

I had trouble focusing on the storyline because the male narrator was absolutely the worst. He spoke so slowly that I had to put it on 2.0 every time Wes spoke. It ruined the overall story for me.

The most frustrating story on so many levels.

I was so excited for this story, I was a huge fan of the other Bishop brothers and their mates! This story fell flat for me. The two main characters were down right frustrating. It was a cycle of “I can’t have him/her” (for no solid reason). Don’t even get me started about the snake in the grass that is so obviously an evil villain. Keira is so completely clueless the whole time! Not a fan!

I knocked up my best friend's sister. Let's start with how she decided to inform me and Pacey the news...together. Imagine that nightmare. I was going into what I thought was a hockey marketing meeting, and then bam! I'm going to be a dad and my best friend/teammate is attempting to imprint my face with his fist. Threats were tossed around, friendships were revoked, and then I was marched up to her apartment, suitcases in hand, and forced to live with her so I could take care of her every need. Now I'm finding it harder and harder not to fall for my best friend's little sister.

Penny drove me insane in this book!

This book started off great, I typically love Meghan Quinn books, but this main heroine drove me crazy! She is so selfish and self centered. She doesn’t show love and care about Eli’s past. She is crazy. All of the problems could have been solved with a simple conversation. I almost couldn’t finish this book.

This book was beyond boring… basically a back and forth of…I love him, but I can’t be with him (for a myriad of reasons that are silly and are not based on facts.) There were many unrelated events to distract you from the weak plot. I had to speed up the narration to get through it.

This was so frustrating. The couple didn’t seem to have sparks and It took them to the last 20 minutes to even get good. Not worth the time, even if you listen to it at 1.5x.

The narrator really made this story a bit difficult to listen to. Any passionate scenes were almost read in a monotone way. It’s so unfortunate because the story was pretty hilarious. I think it would have been better if I just read the book.
