Can I say another hit?
Revisado: 04-16-25
Oh wowwww I have a new favorite with Haymitch story narrator gave me the Woody Harrelson voice vibe so that was also a plus. Very much enjoy this book I had to stop because I had to work this was my commute listen and let's just say is incredible good!. So many more characters and how all starts to intertwine for you to help you understand them as adults and their early beginnings. We do get to see many of our beloved characters and hear of more and meet more new that we adore. Mrs Collins does a fantastic job once again. Can't wait to see this as a movie. But I love this as a book so much

excellent
Revisado: 03-31-25
I love historical fiction and Mrs Weir does this justice like the rest of her books. incredible to hear stories on how different circumstances were in the past when people were married off to the best alliance and minds were changed in a minute. Eleanor sounds like such am amazing Queen that endured so much during her life, was loved and betrayed by the same King but she endure all to have her sons inherite her lands and what was rightfully theirs. she was a lioness for sure.

Historia
Best-selling author Alison Weir turns her masterly storytelling skills to the early life of young Elizabeth Tudor, who would grow up to become England's most intriguing and powerful queen. Sweeping in scope, The Lady Elizabeth is a fascinating portrayal of a woman far ahead of her time - whose dangerous and dramatic path to the throne shapes her future greatness.

Impressive
Revisado: 11-08-24
I know I am late to the books I have seen movies original and new ones so decided to use my credits to purchase Audio books. Best investment made author was so beyond his time incredible world building and sooo many characters at first I felt a bit intimidated and distracted by the narrative with so many characters but just focus and continue and it was hard for me to stop and work and have to wait until after work to continue. This is definitely a masterpiece in all it's glory have also bought the book set to read but couldn't wait and bought the audible. So much depth to the story is Impressive so onto book 2 for me and yes I am listening to the originals in that order.
