Shocker: Much Better Than the Movie
Revisado: 01-29-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Apt Pupil to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the print version. But the narrator was great and did a much better job than my mind's eye would.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Apt Pupil?
The ending, which if I recall is vastly different than the ending of the movie.
Which scene was your favorite?
The ending. I'm trying not to give away spoilers here. But it's just so artfully done.

Historia
Uranium is best known for the destructive power of the atom bombs, which ushered in the nuclear era at the end of World War II, but given the effectiveness of nuclear power, plants like those at Three Mile Island in Pennsylvania were constructed to generate energy for Americans during the second half of the 20th century. While nuclear power plants were previously not an option and thus opened the door to new, more efficient, and more affordable forms of energy for domestic consumption, the use of nuclear energy understandably unnerved people.

You get what you pay for
Revisado: 01-29-16
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No. It was really hard to stay focused on this. It jumps from one meeting of bureaucrats to a few minutes of eye-witness testimony and back to the meeting of bureaucrats.
Any additional comments?
This seems like it was hurriedly put together out of transcripts and other books/reporting on the topic. Not much time was taken in developing a narrative for either of these accidents.
