Absolutely loved this latest book in the Haven Brothers series from Claire Kinsley. Who knew the Havens would give the Baileys a run for their money? Claire did, that's who.

Whispers and Wildfire delivers a lot of what we count on in a Claire Kingsley novel - small town shenanigans, a big family with big personality and even bigger hearts, and swoony romance in spades. Returning to Tilikum is like coming home and being reunited with old friends.

This time, it's Luke Haven that waves goodbye to his single status. Luke is thrown for a loop when his high school sweetheart returns to town more than a decade later, freshly divorced. Melanie is feisty, fierce and determined, but she's also at a crossroads and doesn't know what she's going to do with her next chapter. Luke makes Melanie feel EVERYTHING, from frustration to anger to passion to unresolved love. The two of them reuniting is definitely a wild ride, but it's also definitely meant to be. Now, can Luke keep Melanie safe?

The audiobook, narrated by Erin Mallon, Marcio Catalano and Robert Hatchet, is top notch. They are the perfect compliments to Claire's writing. Erin capture's Melanie's personality perfectly, balancing strength and vulnerability. Marcio brings life to Luke's protective side, as well has he utter bewilderment with Melanie. Robert plays against his typical roles here as the villain. The three of them were amazing, so I highly recommend the audiobook.

I have been waiting for more Copper Valley Pounders from Pippa Grant! This second in the series really hit the spot. The Roommate Mistake is so full of heart, love and humor, and it provided some fantastic humor and entertainment at a time when I need all the humor I can get.

Holt Webster and Ziggy Barnes' first meeting is not great at all. Holt accidentally gets Ziggy fired. Pregnant Ziggy, who has come home to Copper Valley after spending years working abroad. When he tracks her down the next day, she agrees to dog sit while he spends several weeks abroad playing rugby in Europe. Several miscommunications, an injury later, and weeks of budding friendship and feelings later, we find out that Holt's good deed means he's living with the Pounder's owner's daughter. His very, very off-limits daughter.

Holt and Ziggy are adorable together. They truly care about each other, and they become each other's lifeline through some challenging times. Holt just wants to play rugby and be an all-around good guy to everyone he knows. Ziggy just wants to be able to make her own decisions and live her own life. They really grow together in a way that only strengthens their relationship along the way.

Pippa Grant always writes books with a wicked sense of humor, and she absolutely entertains while she fills our hearts with joy. The audio, with narration by Kit Swann and Connor Crais, is a great way to experience this story. Kit Swann really makes you root for Ziggy!

This series is not for everyone. Definitely go to the website and check the content warnings before diving in. If you don't love spicy paranormal why-choose epics filled with lust, swearing, fighting, possessive, morally grey guys with accents and supernatural powers, this is not the series for you. If you read that list and said "check, check, check..." welcome, my friend, you have found your happy place.

That said, you want to experience all of these series in order, so go back and experience the other Mate Games series, War, Pestilence and Death, first. It's worth the investment of your time. Then come back here to start Apocalypse. This will then make you go through to all of K. Loraine's and Meg Anne's backlists. Again, worth the investment of your time.

After failing to end the world in the prior three Mate Games series, our fourth harbinger is up. Our female lead, Merri, is not thrilled to learn that she's Lucifer's intended vessel, and she's even less happy to learn that her Auntie Lilith has sent the four horsemen of the apocalypse to guard her. Sin, Malice, Grimsby and Chaos are not who Merri wants to spend her time with at first, but the sparks inevitably fly, and the sparks are giant flames. Given the title, Sin, a lot of the focus is on Sin as the most charming, enigmatic incubus ever tasked with knocking up our heroine before Lucifer gets his hands on her. The charm, flirt and banter just ooze out of Sin, and he was easily my favorite character so far in the series.

The world that Meg and Kim have built throughout these series is just phenomenal and so much fun to experience. Their attention to detail, their creativity, their willingness to go where you don't think they will and take you on a journey that makes you slightly uncomfortable with just how attracted you are to morally grey, makes these series such epic experiences. They create a dirty, flirty, edge-of-your-seat way to escape reality.

I firmly believe this book is best experienced in audio, because the all-star cast that they have assembled for this is one of the best in the business hands down. This multi-cast recording features Stella Hunter as Merri and reprising everyone's favorite Lilith, Shane East as Grimsby and reprising his role as Crombie, J.F. Harding as Sin, Jason Clarke as Chaos, and James Joseph as Malice in the lead roles, with Teddy Hamilton and Christian Fox in featured roles. Did I almost spontaneously combust a few times listening to this cast? Yes. Yes, I did. Did Christian Fox make me not hate the bad guy and sign my own deal with Lucifer? Yessir. Did Stella Hunter make me a jealous, jealous woman? Yes, she did. A+ narration.

That cliff-hanger ending - O.M.G. I need more! Can't wait to see where Meg, Kim, Merri and the four horsemen are going to take us next.

Another LB Dunbar holiday romcom that will get you in the holiday spirit! I love that LB Dunbar writes characters with life experience that know what they want and make it happen.

Brock is really at a crossroads in his life. His hasn't fully processed his divorce, and is living day-to-day without really moving on. When his captain sends him to his remote cabin to work out his issues, Brock is in for the surprise of his life when he's greeted by Paradise (aka "Pear"), the captain's daughter. But Brock and Pear both have hurts to heal and past loves to move past. Their initial wariness gives way to love that they both didn't expect but desperately need.

LB Dunbar is a romcom wizard that makes their serious process of healing fun, humorous and steamy. Brilliant narration by Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton makes this an audio-lover's delight, and it hits the holiday season perfectly.

Karen Grey's romances are always a treat for me as a nostalgia loving lady that likes call backs to growing up. Sam and Diane? A classic couple name for me!

For Fork's Sake is the third novel in the multi-author Farm 2 Forking series, and this time Sam Bedd is the one to fall in love. Sam's relationship with his family is strained, but underlying is so much love and caring for each other, even if they don't always understand him. His happily-ever-after with Diane started months ago with a one night stand, but to Diane, Sam represents everything that she is advocating against. Luckily Sam and Diane are able to sort out their differences, and Sam finally opens up to his family and starts mending fences. Along the way, we have some fun, lots of heart, and some steam to keep you warm at night.

The audio, narrated by Erin Mallon and Alistair Haynesbridge, really puts you right inside the story. You can feel Sam's pain of being the odd-man out within his family, and Diane's confusion with the assumptions that she made vs the man she knows Sam to be. Highly recommend the audio!

Since You've Bean Gone is an utter delight, and exactly what you expect from a Lainey Davis romcom. It's witty, it's fun, but it also addresses real life issues with heart and compassion.

Since You've Bean Gone is is the first book in the multi-author Farm 2 Forking series about the Bedd family, an upstate NY farming family trying to save the family farm. It's also a heartfelt second chance romance as Ethan Bedd has to work with Lia, his lost love, to save the farm. Ethan and Lia were high school sweethearts, and Ethan thought Lia was his future, until she left him behind. She had her reasons, and those reasons still exist, but Ethan makes sure the adult Lia knows that they're not insurmountable.

The audio, narrated by Erin Mallon and Alastair Haynesbridge, is top-notch. Erin and Alastair make sure we experience every giggle, every sigh, every moment of heartbreak and moment of glee.

This is a stand-alone romance, but how the Bedd family saves the farm is interwoven through the 5 book series. It's well-worth the read/listen!

Who wants a fun grumpy sunshine romcom with heart? ME!

Butter You Up, book 2 in the Farm 2 Forking multi-author romcom series definitely hit the spot. Molly, our merry-wanderer, is just want grumpy Alex needed to bring him out of his funk. Bonus points for then extended Bedd family, including Bah-bra, their intrepid sheep of hilarity.

Liz Alden's contribution to this series is fun, funny, happy, and really expands the Bedd Family's story. Narration by Erin Mallon and Alistair Haynesbridge is delightful and truly captures the spirit of Molly and Alex perfectly.

You can always count on Adriana Locke writing a book that makes you feel and fall in love right along with her characters, and The Invitation definitely did just that.

I love a good enemies to lovers story written by an author that strikes the perfect balance between humor and the heart, and Georgia and Ripley definitely have that balance. Their banter was amazing, and we could feel them growing as they put their differences aside and truly got to know each other. This may be my favorite Brewer family book yet!

Lexi Maynard and Jason Clarke were amazing in this narration. Jason is a favorite of mine, and I know he's always going to deliver a stellar performance. Lexi is new to me, and she's definitely going on my list for future listens!

Great romance with mature characters that are real

L.B. Dunbar has once again delivered a shining example of a mature romance with characters that you care about, love that feels genuine, and a family that you want to adopt as your own.

Clay and Mavis were such a great couple, with a genuine connection from start to finish. Yes, they had history, but when Mavis opened up to Clay, it was obvious that they were meant to be. Add Dutton, Mavis' child, to the mix, and you had a family that was so caring, so loving and so accepting that it was immediately clear that they were meant to have forever.

The audio, narrated by Willa James and Oliver Highpoint, was a real treat to listen to. The way these two narrators brought L.B. Dunbar's writing to life was a great way to experience this story. I'm looking forward to more in this series.

I truly enjoyed this holiday romcom from Lili Valente. Tons of heart, tons of heat, and a really cute and funny story to put you in the holiday spirit.

Candy gets out of her holiday-themed hometown after having her heart broken, and finds herself in a reality tv wonderland with her cousin's ex, Leo. Leo can't help but fall in love with Candy, who is so genuine it melts his Scroogy heart! It's a Hallmark romcom with spark, and really satisfies the holiday craving!

Narration by Sebastian York and Lili Valente is spot on. Sebastian is a perfect grump-in-love, and Lili captures all of the delight of the season.
