Historia
Law professor James J. Duane became a viral sensation thanks to a 2008 lecture outlining the reasons why you should never agree to answer questions from the police - especially if you are innocent and wish to stay out of trouble with the law. In this timely, relevant, and pragmatic new book, he expands on that presentation, offering a vigorous defense of every citizen's constitutionally protected right to avoid self-incrimination.

Important for Everyone
Revisado: 11-23-21
A well known and respected criminal defense attorney and speaker lays out how everyone is at risk of breaking vague and ever growing laws, and the standard ways police, investigators, agents, and prosecutors try to trick people into apparent self incrimination through innocuous seeming questions. Very accessible and interesting through the author's use of personal anecdotes and documented cases. Clear and simple in it's recommendations at the end. I consider myself extremely law abiding and conscientious, and I'm really glad I read this book.

Lovely book
Revisado: 03-18-20
I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of short stories. They are emotionally moving, entertaining, and thought provoking.
The narrator has a weird cadence to her voice and often reads in such a way that a whole paragraph sounds like a single run-on sentence. I found myself wanting to tell her to "Breathe!" At the same time, she does voices, accents, and emotions very well.
For sure, though, if you don't have the time or patience for a printed copy of this book, the beautiful stories within are well worth the small discomfort sometimes caused by the narrator.

This book is an unexpected treasure.
It's well written with simple, concise language. It's laid out in an organized and neat manner that is easy to follow. The narrator is pleasant, with a soothing voice that makes you feel like he personally understands what you're going through.
The treasure is in the hope that is offered here. Without disparaging or judging the need for drugs, the author goes on to explain a myriad of ways to heal mind and spirit without needing to resort to them. At least 95% of what he talks about here is absolutely free to try and can be done by anyone, with clear explanations about HOW one can go about it. He doesn't just say you SHOULD do such-n-such, he also explains HOW.
I plan to buy a hard-copy of this book as well, so I can have all these valuable tools and suggestions at my fingertips to underline, highlight, and write my own notes in the margins.
I think anyone struggling with depression, anxiety, and/or addictions can benefit greatly from this simple and yet profound little book.
