Historia
Intelligence is usually seen as the ability to think and learn, but in a rapidly changing world, there's another set of cognitive skills that might matter more: the ability to rethink and unlearn. In our daily lives, too many of us favor the comfort of conviction over the discomfort of doubt. We listen to opinions that make us feel good, instead of ideas that make us think hard. We see disagreement as a threat to our egos, rather than an opportunity to learn.

Good stuff. Hard to listen. Read the book instead.
Revisado: 06-30-22
Think again is quite an appropriate title, as you may want to 'rethink' this 'audiobook".
Narration of a story is the #1 most important factor next to the actual content of the book. And a poor narration makes it hard to digest the info trying to be dispersed, as valuable as it may be.
I found this book to be full of good gems however incredibly challenging to listen to. I understand some authors want to read their own books. Some just SHOULDN'T. Period. Like this one.
The reading was hard to relate to, and often sounded very generic. It took me 30 days to finish, when a book of this ilk would normally capture my attention and be done in just a few.
Some of the points--while they started out great--weren't explored deeply enough either. They were sort of glossed over at a somewhat high level, while I felt there was so much more to dig into to really drive the point home.
Overall, a fine book. But I STRONGLY urge you to READ it instead of having to bear through the narration like I did.

This needs to be a movie!

Absolutely love the way this story was delivered. The unique and subtle hip hop rhythms in the background behind Daymond's voice helped set the stage and create a vibe. Not to mention drive the story home. Always great learning from successful entrepreneurs, no matter the industry.

Good message but difficult to navigate and follow
Revisado: 12-18-21
Some gems in this book but very difficult to follow at most points. The author means well and has a ton of great insight to share. It would have been helpful if there was a little bit more structure to the format of the book however.

Narrator is unbearable!
Revisado: 10-16-21
I'm sure there is a lot of great info in this book. Unfortunately, the narrator reads in such a way that it is difficult to endure. Had to return this audiobook after the first hr. Maybe I'll read it instead.

Outstanding little book. Wish it was longer! I chose to play it at 85% speed since Ed is incredibly passionate and tends to talk quickly at points. :) Definitely worth listening to multiple times.
One note: Ed has what a lot of people might consider a stringent/strict daily routine. It's NOT for everyone. And he states that. He shares what works for HIM. And you need to find YOUR groove.
Great little gems of advice that can make a HUGE impact in one's life. Highly recommend.🙏

Brilliant. Compelling. Easy to understand.
Revisado: 01-01-21
One of the most important aspects of an audio book is the narrator. They can literally make or break a book. This story was not only SO well written by Voss but it was SO well conveyed by the VO. Definitely need to listen to it again because there were so many valuable lessons and nuggets. Love the anecdotes and personal experiences that Voss uses to teach his philosophies and well proven systems. Highly recommend.
