Historia
Instead of sleeping, Parker Chipp enters the dream of the last person he's had eye contact with. He spends his nights crushed by other people's fear and pain and by their disturbing secrets - and Parker can never have dreams of his own. The severe exhaustion is crippling him. If nothing changes, Parker could soon be facing psychosis and even death. Then he meets Mia. Her dreams, calm and beautifully uncomplicated, allow him blissful rest that is utterly addictive. Parker starts going to bizarre lengths to catch Mia's eye every day.

My favorite book
Revisado: 12-22-24
This is one of the books that inspired me to start writing. The phrasing, the pacing and especial the characterization. By far the best book I’ve ever read.

Historia
Offering examples of how to make medicine better for the healers and those they serve, If I Betray These Words profiles clinicians across the country who are tough, resourceful, and resilient, but feel trapped between the patient-first values of their Hippocratic oath and the business imperatives of a broken healthcare system. If I Betray These Words confronts the threat and broken promises of moral injury—what it is; where it comes from; how it manifests; and who’s fighting back against it. We need better healthcare—for patients and for the workforce. It’s time to act.

I felt every chapter was about my career

Amazing insights. Good to not feel as though I am alone in my difficulties. Inspiring me to make changes in my own life and hopefully in the health care system. Wendy Dean is a life saver.

I really enjoy this series. Well written and well thought out. I even enjoyed the ridiculously convenient happy endings. Just the positive type of fantasy I need in the current world.

Historia
Verene is a disappointment to her entire kingdom — the first royal ever born without power, despite her mother being the most powerful mage in history. So when she's sent to the Academy in neighboring Kallorway to forge ties with her people's traditional enemies, she's determined to succeed and prove she can still be of value to her kingdom. Surrounded by unfamiliar politics and long-held enemies, Verene discovers that some at the Academy want her gone by whatever means necessary. As the threats grow ever more sinister, she starts to question all of her assumptions.
