The entire series is a must read! Nicole Poole is my favorite narrator and she flawlessly delivers all of the emotion and hilarious wit this story provides. I really wish this series would continue for another 20 books!

Might have been a decent story ...

I couldn't finish this book. The narrator completely flips any quips or humor peppered throughout the story. It was so irritating that I simply couldn't continue listening near the halfway mark. I suggest they re-record then republish this book.

Couldn't finish book-too boring

I tried to listen to the entire book but just couldn't force myself to do it. Main character is tedious and uninteresting. Story line lacks the hooks that reel in readers and keeps them engaged.

Incorrect pronounciation, irritating music

There are mistakes all over the booklet! This lesson provides a booklet using the incorrect pronounciation. Example - some words used "d" instead of "t". 3 is pronouced as "tria" and the booklet says to pronounce it as "dria". My husband is greek and started laughing when he saw this. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I found this book personally transforming. As a type "A" workaholic with two small, very active boys and a job requiring ceaseless time and attention, I needed to address the constant sense of guilt and exhaustion that came with the daily choices and tradeoffs. I was also recently promoted and needed to gain some footing and build relationships among my new peers - who were primarily men. This created a considerable amount of anxiety for me as well.
The exercises and meditations in this book were exactly what I needed at this point.
I am predisposed to an appreciation for Buddhist text and was especially pleased with one that wasn’t entirely focused on women, but certainly provided considerable spotlight on their particular needs.
After finishing my first listen, I felt a sense of peace and relaxation that I have spent of considerable time and energy seeking. I have a feeling I will burn a hole in my MP3 player listening to it over and over again.
I also just purchased another audio book by the same author.
