I love how this audio book book is sectioned into quick easy clips averaging 10 minutes each. As the description states it puts all discoveries in chronological order and explains the when, who, what, why, where, & how. I finally know why we call it electricity and use an amp for measurement! This book is dense so I’ve restarted it 3 times to get what I missed on the last listen. I’m hooked on this entire series. Once I’ve absorbed all of this one I’ll move on to the other books in this series! I’ve already sent links to this series to friends, family, and coworkers! I recommend it to you too:)

Been hooked since the first book.

I love everything about this series. I’ve been hooked since the car chase in the first book. The plot of this book doesn’t feel as high of stakes as the previous books but now that we have a clue of what’s coming in the next book, I’m very excited. I’ve got the first 3 as Kindle books. This was the first one I did as an audio. The narrator did her best but her male Brooklyn/ Boston accent was terrible and her attempt at an Israeli accent sounded stereotypical Russian to me. Still I give her an A- for effort. I will definitely read the next book, but I’m not sure if I’ll switch back to print for it stick with the audio…

Narrator does his job well

I listened to this as a part of the bed time/ sleep series that audible provides as a part of the membership. This narrator is soothing and gets me in a good position to sleep. The story itself is good and is an interesting take on science and philosophy/ shifting of paradigms.

I’m only 8 minutes into the book, but it sounds like someone ran it through google translator. There’s extra words or phrases that don’t belong to the context. As the kid of an English teacher, it’s jarring to me. The Narrator’s diction is excellent though. He enunciates very well. I’ll update my review if I can make it through to the content.

I hope you enjoy your stay at the Wandering Inn

Once you understand that this book was originally released as a weekly serial, the sudden jumps from character perspectives make sense. Then once you understand that this series has (at the moment) 7 volumes plus dozens of side stories voted on by the fans, the extensive world building makes sense. I originally got this book because of it's length. I was getting my teeth straightened and needed something to distract me from hours of tooth pain. Now I'm hooked and working my way through volume 3 of the series. If you can make it to the explosive end of this long volume, you will be just as hooked as I am.

I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard over a book. The twists and oddities definitely take you on a journey. It's worth the listen!

Exactly what a story should be

I laughed out loud long and hard at times. There were other moments were I was so touched I was biting back tears. This is worth every minute and exactly what a good story should be.

My favorite book of the year

I have bought six more audio books since this one, and this is one I keep coming back to. It was so well done, I couldn't help but fact check a few of the details. The narrator was awesome and the book is laugh out loud funny. It's so ludicrous it might actually be true!! I loved every minute of it!

The ending, the dual ending in a sense

What does Anne Flosnik bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

the depth and the grit. Reading words on a page can't get the feel of sand in my hair or the absolute pain a person can feel into my mind, versus listening to a very carefully constructed illiad...

I got a little choked up when I read about the male lead and the female side kick...

Critiques say you should read this book in one sitting, I disagree. If you do it will eat you alive like quick sand and never let you go!! I had to walk away from this book because my life demanded it, when I did walk away I could hear the narrator calling out "Onye`!" that urgent hiss is going to be stuck in my head until I read it again! Its calling to me "Onye!" "Read me! Read me again!!"
