Historia
After the failure of the Weimar Republic, the Nazis believed their mission was to "masculinize" life in Germany. Hermann Goering told women, "Take a pot, a dustpan and a broom, and marry a man", but many still became active participants in murder and mayhem. From the Reich Bride Schools through the Bund Deutscher Mädel and the bizarre Lebensborn Aryan breeding programme to the brothels of the Sicherheitsdienst, this book covers the lives of women in the Third Reich, concentrating on those who sought personal power and influence amid the chaos.

Which character – as performed by Gabrielle Glaister – was your favorite?
NA
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Masterful Storytelling: No Filth.
Revisado: 05-13-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Already have.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Numerous characters, and all of them superbly developed. Because of this I'm having a hard time picking a favorite, but will definitely be listening to this gem again.
What does Tim Gerard Reynolds bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His rich voice adds both depth and warmth to the characters.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed often, and had to fight back tears. Not all of the tears were sad.
Any additional comments?
Gold standard for storytelling. It is rare to stumble across a book that is this well written that keeps raunchy material out.

Historia
The ancient books of Genesis and Enoch tell us that sprit beings known as the Watchers descended to the Earth, had sex with women, and begat a hybrid race of offspring known as the Nephilim. Such tales are as old as humanity itself. These histories and accounts of visitations and subsequent mixed-blood, alien-human races comprise the bulk of the world's myths, legends, religions, and superstitions.

A work of indulgence
Revisado: 04-21-15
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The author was constantly critical of biblical thought while often in the same breath using biblical narrative to back up his lagging thesis. If he would have avoided this I might have enjoyed the listen.
What was most disappointing about Scott Roberts’s story?
The author has a way of using sources that leave out much of the contextual framework from which he is basing his thesis. There is little uniformity to his presentation which makes it hard to follow, and at times it is easy to forget what point the author was trying to make. The author also seems to have disdain for anyone that has a different idea or thesis then his own. All in all, the author comes off as arrogant and patronizing.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The narrator did fine work.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Mostly disappointment. He was very hostile to other ideas that, I might add, have far more proofing then his own work.
Any additional comments?
Could have been shorter. To much repetition.

No magic formula, just the lean facts
Revisado: 01-29-15
What made the experience of listening to The Lean Fast Diet the most enjoyable?
I wasn't being sold unrealistic fairyland moonshine. The author presented a very good sounding method to lose weight, and great ways to approach the whole process.
What other book might you compare The Lean Fast Diet to and why?
None come to mind. I have read many diets books but this book was the first one I truly believed and enjoyed listening to.
What does Guy Bethell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He has a way of presenting dry humor that delivers the punch in a way the author probably intended.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and I did.
Any additional comments?
We need more author's who are willing to give us the "skinny," pun intended. This author delivers a wonderful approach with a well needed reality check.

Historia
Deep below the University, there is a dark place. Few people know of it: a broken web of ancient passageways and abandoned rooms. A young woman lives there, tucked among the sprawling tunnels of the Underthing, snug in the heart of this forgotten place. Her name is Auri, and she is full of mysteries. The Slow Regard of Silent Things is a brief, bittersweet glimpse of Auri’s life, a small adventure all her own. At once joyous and haunting, this story offers a chance to see the world through Auri’s eyes.

Fun listen if familiar with the character.
Revisado: 10-29-14
Where does The Slow Regard of Silent Things rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It was a good story as far as "hold them off" books go.
Would you be willing to try another book from Patrick Rothfuss? Why or why not?
Of course. He's a great story teller.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
He should not have read his own material. He wasn't horrible but changing narrators is hardly ever a good experience for the listener. I have enjoyed the narration from his earlier two books, and I would have preferred that he stuck with Nick.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The simple ending was very good. Also the insight to the character was truly enjoyable.
Any additional comments?
I wouldn't purchase this with out reading the author's first two books first.

Historia
I was asked by a man that had befriended me on a popular social network site to write 40 Ways to Please a Good Woman right after I released my newest title - June 10th, 2013 - titled 40 Ways to Please a Good Man. This was so interesting to me because it became my new niche of writing and I was excited just thinking about what I was going to write. 40 Ways is not intended to be given to just anyone but a good women or a good man.

Not what I was expecting
Revisado: 09-06-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
The book was tasteless and juvenile. Fix this problem and it might have been okay.
Would you ever listen to anything by Aleja Bennett again?
No.
Would you be willing to try another one of AudioBookSa’s performances?
The Narration was horrible so no.
What character would you cut from 40 Ways to Please a Good Woman?
The author.
Any additional comments?
The book comes across as a book of ideas, but in reality most of the "tips" given seem to be the author's way of saying I have no more good ideas.

Which character – as performed by Christopher Lane – was your favorite?
Jacob
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

If you could sum up The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse in three words, what would they be?
Well delivered information.
What other book might you compare The Nephilim and the Pyramid of the Apocalypse to and why?
First of this type of book I have ever read.
What about Patrick Heron’s performance did you like?
Tons of interesting information on the subject with an appropriate amount of personal beliefs and points of view to suit the material.
Any additional comments?
I truly enjoyed the read. The author did not preview his information as the gospel but rather as a strong opinion. I appreciate that about the author.

Historia
Over the last 500 years, blood-red moons have fallen on the first day of Passover three separate times. These occurrences were connected to some of the most significant days in Jewish history: 1492 (the final year of the Spanish Inquisition when Jews were expelled from Spain), 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence) and 1967 (the Six-Day War). Every heavenly body is controlled by the unseen hand of God, which signals coming events to humanity. There are no solar or lunar accidents.

Dose not deliver the promised title
Revisado: 12-18-13
What would have made Four Blood Moons better?
Focusing on the four blood moons. I love sermons but I did not but this book to hear one.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. I was hoping for a detailed work on this phenomenon but what I got was a sermon with a little information on the Blood moons added. The author did a good job when focusing on this subject but I did not need the four hour back drop to his life.
Any additional comments?
I did not disagree with what the author had to say, but he did not focus on the main issue that was plastered on the front cover of his book.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Alloy of Law to be better than the print version?
Yes
Who was your favorite character and why?
All the characters were great but lacked some detail due to the rush the author had to get to the climax.
Which scene was your favorite?
The wedding scene was my personal favorite.
Any additional comments?
The author did a great job in getting the reader interested from the start. Well rounded characters despite the lack of any real backdrops.
