Historia
Alexander von Humboldt (1769-1859) was an intrepid explorer and the most famous scientist of his age. His restless life was packed with adventure and discovery, whether climbing the highest volcanoes in the world or racing through anthrax-infested Siberia. He came up with a radical vision of nature, that it was a complex and interconnected global force and did not exist for man's use alone. Ironically, his ideas have become so accepted and widespread that he has been nearly forgotten.

Seriously one of the most amazing people ever to have lived. Utterly inspiring story, well told, about the man who was the taproot for the entire environmental movement!

Historia
Imagine knowing what the brain craves from every tale it encounters, what fuels the success of any great story, and what keeps people transfixed. Wired for Story reveals these cognitive secrets - and it's a game-changer for anyone who has ever set pen to paper. The vast majority of writing advice focuses on "writing well" as if it were the same as telling a great story. This is exactly where many aspiring writers fail - they strive for beautiful metaphors, authentic dialogue, and interesting characters, losing sight of the one thing that every engaging story must do.

An absolute must-read for writers
Revisado: 05-14-20
After reading twenty books on writing and working for five years on two first drafts, despairing on what was not working in my manuscript, it was all made clear listening to this book. Lisa’s expert directions exploded many of my false notions about what constitutes good writing and an engaging story. Further, she explained clearly three key elements which to this point had remained secret to me, unlocking my story and unleashing my characters. I see clearly what was missing in the past and I believe now I have the information I need to tell my story. Thank you Lisa!
