Historia
This house isn't big enough for the both of us... As my older brother’s best friend, Remington Town used to be like a member of my family. But the minute he turned eighteen, he left our small town of Sugar Brush, Wyoming and never looked back. Thirteen years later, Remi shows up to settle his father’s estate, but as far as I’m concerned, he should’ve stayed gone. Besides, he’s in for a big surprise when he finds out the old farmhouse he intends to sell is now half mine. I expect him to pack up and leave again, but this time, he’s in no hurry to hit the road.

This is second generation done right!
Revisado: 04-04-25
This is second generation done right! Julia Wolf has written the first book of the Kelly Ranch series flawlessly in my opinion. It pulls at your heartstrings and makes you really feel. We are introduced to some amazing and fun new characters and given glimpses of some old favorites. I absolutely cannot wait to see which of the Kelly kids’ story we will be getting next. Emma Wilder and Sean Masters really connect you to the characters and sound exactly how I pictured them to. The flow of the dialogue and transitions were seamless and their performance could not have been cast better in this duet audiobook.

Historia
I’m a golden boy. A genius law student, the heir to the Carson empire, and the dutiful son. Or, at least, that's what it looks like from the outside. Deep inside, I have the urge to set the world on fire. I keep these impulses in check, rarely indulging in mayhem. Until one night of debauchery backfires, and I'm caught by a villain. I bury the entire ordeal with the rest of my skeletons. That is, until that night walks into my classroom in the form of my new professor. Kayden Lockwood.

Most entertaining book I have read in years!
Revisado: 03-27-25
MM isn’t a trope I would normally gravitate towards, but if anyone can make me enjoy it, it would be Rina Kent. As an addict for everything in the Rinaverse, I was initially unsure how I would feel about this book since Gareth’s character annoyed me previously. Rest assured, I am absolutely obsessed with him in this book and I laughed so hard (there were tears on multiple occasions) at his inner monologue as well as Kayden’s. I am not sure what I really expected from this book, but I love that it shares a timeline with the Legacy of the Gods series and we get events from yet another POV, but simultaneously, it has a completely different feel and direction. Along with the usual banter and snark, we have two psycho alpha males constantly trying to out-red flag each other. It’s still dark but also fun and is probably the most entertaining book I have read in years.
The full cast performance on this audiobook is perfect. The narrators’ voices match exactly how I picture the characters and their emotion and passion make this story even more realistic and enjoyable. This is an absolute relisten for me.

Historia
I caught the attention of a monster. I didn’t ask for it. Didn’t even see it coming. But the moment I do, it’s too late. Killian Carson is a predator wrapped in sophisticated charm. He’s cold-blooded, manipulative, and savage. The worst part is that no one sees his devil side. I do. And that will cost me everything. I run, but the thing about monsters? They always chase.

How many times have I listened to this book... 7!
Revisado: 03-11-25
This book is an outstanding way to start this next generation series. Rina Kent has developed this new world to capture the legacies of all of our beloved characters and tie them all together in the unions of their children. The mystery, suspense, and plot twists have only evolved from her previous books and the storylines of past and present tie in perfectly.
Regarding the audiobook-- there could not have been a better cast for this performance.

Historia
I’m Caleb “C-Bomb” Baumgarten, the bad boy drummer of Red Card Riot. After tragedy strikes, I get the bright idea to hire my daughter’s remaining lifeline, her “Auntie Aubbey,” as my live-in nanny in her small town. I’m determined not to give in to my white-hot attraction to Aubrey, since I need her to certify my sobriety and testify on my behalf at an upcoming custody hearing. But you know what they say about best laid plans, right? Yeah. My bad.

Perfection!!
Revisado: 03-04-25
I loved the plot of this beautiful story by Lauren Rowe. She seamlessly re-defines the “single dad/nanny” trope in such an original and creative way with this storyline, generating so many mixed emotions. It’s full of pain, regret, heartache, and devastation, but I also find myself equally as captivated by the characters’ healing, selflessness, devotion, and unconditional love.

Historia
As secrets of Castle Ravenspire come to light, Elise and Valen discover their enemies hold more power than they ever imagined. It will take more than blades to defeat them: fulfilling a dangerous request from Valen’s imprisoned brother, destroying a prophecy of fate kept in the hands of Elise's brutal sister, and an unwilling alliance with a shadowed thief from a neighboring kingdom that might end in victory or more death. Blood is calling. War will answer.

Amazing everything!!!
Revisado: 01-29-25
I haven’t read any of the books in the author’s original Broken Kingdoms series, but being introduced to that generation as parents of the main characters in the Ever Seas series, makes me immediately want to dive into their stories. This new journey that we experience over the course of The Mist Thief introduces us to many lands, kingdoms and characters that continue to set the foundation of this amazing interconnected storyline for readers. Jonas and Skadi’s transformations from side characters in the Ever King and The Ever Queen are phenomenal. As their characters develop throughout this story, our Mist Thief and Nightmare Prince’s relationship blossoms, turning them into one my favorite Romantasy couples EVER! This book was a beautiful and intoxicating adventure that I never wanted to end.

Blown away!
Revisado: 01-07-25
Veronica Lancet is one of the most diverse authors I have had the pleasure of reading. Fantasy books always deter me as it is often daunting to learn a new world, but the author does an amazing job teaching us about this new land and its traditions, customs, and histories. As Barbi is transported into this alternate world, we only know the information that Barbi is able to learn through her experiences and information relayed to her by other characters. I loved that, at the end of this book, we still don’t know what is real or lies, and can most definitely not predict the outcome. I love this in a book and know that it would only work this way because it is told only from Barbi’s POV, though I do hope we eventually will get a few chapters from “the Villian’s” POV. I am not even sure what genre this book fits in, but maybe that is why it is so fabulous.
Adrienne Fleming does a phenomenal job performing this story!
