Historia
Every man was once a boy. And every little boy has dreams, big dreams: dreams of being the hero, of beating the bad guys, of doing daring feats and rescuing the damsel in distress. Every little girl has dreams, too: of being rescued by her prince and swept up into a great adventure, knowing that she is the beauty.

A Must Read for Every Christian Man
Revisado: 08-24-20
Too often we are taught that christian men are supposed to be nice guys and pushovers, which is not consistent with scripture. The result is an enormous number of emasculated Christian men who are unable to face the world and be the men that their wives, families and society need them to be. This book does an excellent job of educating men on what it means and how to become a christian man.

Historia
In this book, which the author calls a "culmination of 30 years of work in the history of ideas", Sowell attempts to explain the ideological difference between liberals and conservatives as a disagreement over the moral potential inherent in nature. Those who see that potential as limited prefer to constrain governmental authority, he argues. They feel that reform is difficult and often dangerous, and put their faith in family, custom, law, and traditional institutions.

Outstanding book, TERRIBLE narrator
Revisado: 10-14-16
Truly great book that really allows the reader to know what it truly means to be a conservative (constrained) vs a liberal (unconstrained) with the underlying assumptions that lead to both stances. The narrator on the other hand was monotoned, terrible and boring which really did not do justice to such an outstanding book. I would recommend reading the book as opposed to listening to this audio version.
