Historia
Working on the case, LAPD detective Harry Bosch is reminded of the primal police rule he learned long ago: Don't look for the facts, but the glue that holds them together. Soon Harry's making some very dangerous connections, starting with a dead cop and leading to a bloody string of murders that wind from Hollywood Boulevard to the back alleys south of the border.

Many parts of story lack credibility. The lady who was attacked by students was a colorful character but lost out to #1 lawyer who lacked color.

Historia
The great state of Texas is a land of opportunity. For outlaws. And horse thieves. And cattle rustlers. Not to mention bank robbers, train robbers, and anything-that-ain’t-nailed-down robbers. The state’s governor, Richard B. Hubbard, is at the end of his rope. He wants to clean up Texas once and for all—and he’s desperate enough to try something crazy: hire a man who can do what the Texas Rangers can’t. A man not tied down by a wife or children. Or rules. Who’s not afraid to go outside the law.

Exploited People
Revisado: 09-22-23
As to narration: Ann Lee was very good. Danny Campbell also good although his portion more like documentary. Will Patton needs another chance. Not his best work.
It is very sad that greed and evil caused so many Osage to be murdered. There must have been some decent guardians to stop this pure evil or were they murdered too?
This is pure shame for all those who did the Osage harm. Evil reigned. Extremely sad.

Hard country does not necessarily mean the main character has to be mean.
The book has good people and rich characters but they all die. Something wrong with this.

My last book by this author. He continues to insult conservatives with material based on lies.
