Historia
An historic literary event: the publication of a newly discovered novel, the earliest known work from Harper Lee, the beloved, best-selling author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic To Kill a Mockingbird. Originally written in the mid-1950s, Go Set a Watchman was the novel Harper Lee first submitted to her publishers before To Kill a Mockingbird. Assumed to have been lost, the manuscript was discovered in late 2014.

Oh Atticus :/

Took a bit to get used to the flashbacks. Witherspoon was the perfect narrator. She helped to keep me engaged and able to follow the different characters.

Historia
From a young age, Khalida Brohi was raised to believe in the sanctity of arranged marriage. Her mother was forced to marry a 13-year-old boy when she was only nine; Khalida herself was promised as a bride before she was even born. But her father refused to let her become a child bride. He was a man who believed in education, including for his daughters, and Khalida grew up thinking she would become the first female doctor in her village. Khalida thought her life was proceeding on an unusual track for a woman of her circumstances, but one whose path was orderly and straightforward.

Will listen again
Revisado: 12-22-18
Loved this book. Will likely listen again. So much passion. This is a book I would much rather listen to than read because I get to hear how everything is pronounced. The author's work and sprit is inspiring.
