The book starts out at a kink club, however there were only 2 kinky things besides Dom and sub and there has definitely been better. This book is a 3 on the spice scale. Also the book doesn’t follow up with how the couple end. Kind of a let down. There was a lot of potential with the dad and the sister for drama that wasn’t taken.

Sorrowfully wonderful

Mr. Calls story about young Anif is truly engaging. His story is tragic but not completely heart wrenching. I enjoyed the detail work he used in painting the scenes and how elaborate the story was to the fine details. It wasn’t just well they went here they fought and they went here and they fought. It was very enjoyable and the book really takes place over the span of like a week but that week was jam packed with all sorts of crazy.

This series is about all the different types of demons, which not all are included so far but they mention a lot, which makes me super happy!
The main female protagonist is a well rounded character, however I am confused as to why her mother is in charge of the family based on all the things we learn through the book about women are to be seen and not heard, but whatever.
I would say this book is a PG-17 due to a few indecent scenes. Like I like spicy novels, however this isn’t spicy, most of the scenes are lude, compromising, or social unacceptable.
I feel that the protagonist is very two faced at the end because she wants people to accept her as she is but she isn’t willing to accept other people for how they are.
