Historia
In this stunning audiobook, Malcolm Gladwell takes us on an intellectual journey through the world of "outliers" - the best and the brightest, the most famous, and the most successful. He asks the question: What makes high-achievers different? His answer is that we pay too much attention to what successful people are like, and too little attention to where they are from: That is, their culture, their family, their generation, and the idiosyncratic experiences of their upbringing.

Right on!
Revisado: 04-13-16
Confirms what we knew in a humble and intelligent manner. Every chapter was fascinating. The only thing missing is a recognition that success is not only a result of right time-right place opportunity but also of individual savvy and motivation/energy. I don't think the success of one exists without either: 1) community/culture/opportunity and 2) the individual's ability to identify and motivation to pursue the opportunity.

Highly Technical but good information
Revisado: 02-21-16
Highly technical but good information. I wish there was more information about the reasons for avoiding certain foods/drinks, like caffeine and perhaps modified diet plan options for those of us non-dieters.

Historia
This book will give you a rounded and complete idea of how to control exposure. The book isn't DSLR or analog specific and covers aspects of both. It explains the three components to exposure, which are ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Concepts such as depth of field and a quick overview of Ansel Adams' zone system are also covered. The focus is mainly on how to get a great exposure from the start, but there are also tips on how to fix an overexposed or underexposed photo.

Mostly basics but good review
Revisado: 12-02-15
A lot of time spent on describing aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and less on Program Mode, bracketing and Ansel Adams zone method. I was expecting a little more on the parts beyond the basics but it was all good review.

"Clutter" is not just in our visible world - have you ever stopped to think how much is going on in our invisible world? Emotional dependencies are also a form of clutter which can weigh you down and suck the life-force out of you, and with our hectic lifestyles, it is no wonder that our brains feel scrambled all the time as well.

Good reminders but very basic

Good reminders but very basic and nothing much, if anything, specific to the sentimentalist. I'd skip it if I knew. If you haven't used it for a year, you can get rid of it. There you go.

Historia
There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.
