Love it!!

Jia Tolentino is a fabulous writer and I avidly follow her work on the New Yorker. The essays are a perfect mix of scholarly research and personal introspection, and necessary reading for any millennial trapped in the myriad contradictions of daily existence, or anyone trying to understand such millennials. Read it and then recommend it to everyone you know!

Historia
In 2017, a routine network television investigation led to a story only whispered about: one of Hollywood’s most powerful producers was a predator, protected by fear, wealth, and a conspiracy of silence. As Farrow drew closer to the truth, shadowy operatives, from high-priced lawyers to elite war-hardened spies, mounted a secret campaign of intimidation, threatening his career, following his every move, and weaponizing an account of abuse in his own family.

Necessary and important
Revisado: 12-01-19
Required reading for the defining moment of our decade, on how the culture of abuse by powerful men was exposed by brave journalism, and courageous survivors who want to make the path forward better for all. The audiobook version is enhanced by recordings from the investigative process, and I am quite impressed by the author’s ability to imitate the accents of interviewees to some degree, which added color to the narration.
