I’ve read/listened to each of the books in this series and I knew in my heart that Wilder’s story, the last book in this series would be an emotional roller coaster. And I was right. This book was so beautifully written and deals with mental health and depression and what it can do to not only yourself, but those around you. Deli and Wilder have a past, which they ignore, until they can’t and the fact that she’s his twin’s Ex keeps them from exploring the obvious pull to each other. However, that all changes one night and neither of their lives will ever be the same.

I loved how their love develops for each other. There are moments that had me laughing out loud and then I had tears in my eyes when they both face feelings that surface at the most inopportune times. There’s also some family drama in this book which just knocks up the tension in this book to a level that at times had me on the edge of my seat. And once they go down a path that was supposed to be temporary, all bets are off and I needed to get out my fan because they’re both a little on the wild side!

Being able to see both Wilder and Deli find an inner peace with the support of each other brought tears to my eyes. If two people were ever meant to be together, it’s these two. What made this book that much more enjoyable for me was the amazing narration by Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris. They embodied these two with so much grace and skill. I was entranced by listening to them. While I’m sad to be leaving Sugarland Creek, Ms. Montgomery gave us the perfect setup for her next series and I can’t wait!!

This is the second book in Ms. Pavlov’s newest series and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the duet narration of Sean Masters and Vanessa Edwins. There are some pure gold laugh out loud moments between Rafael (IYKYK) and Lulu. So much so I’m pretty sure I snort laughed out loud at my desk at work LOL!!

Rafe is a man that has no intention of ever falling in love and to his chagrin, he finds that he’s not entirely alone while staying in the guest house on his brother Easton’s property. It’s now inhabited by Henley’s bestie Lulu… let the fun begin!

These two are so equally matched and they go toe to toe on several occasions and they had me rolling especially with some of Lulu’s sassy comebacks to Rafe. There’s this under current of attraction that’s building its way to the surface and when Lulu enlists Rafe’s help for a weekend at her parents house things change in a big way. When I wasn’t laughing, I was swooning thanks to Rafe being so much more than I thought he was. As their feelings change for each other, there’s also this nagging reminder that Lulu isn’t staying in Rosewood Falls but Rafe refuses to hold her back. This woman is filled with so much intelligence, drive, warmth and love and she is truly “seen” by Rafe which just leads to confusion for her given her most recent breakup.

The more I listened to this book, the more I fell in love with Rafe and Lulu. Their connection is undeniable. The foundation they’re building is held together with feelings that neither have ever experienced before now that they’ve been with the “real thing.” Their connection is only beat out by their chemistry. My glasses were steaming up at times because they were on fire!!

There’s a lot of unknowns in this book when it comes to Rafe and Lulu. Will they be able to overcome some rather large obstacles and take a chance on creating their own HEA? I’m not going to tell you. What I will tell you is to hold onto your hats because once you start this book, whether reading it or listening to it, you won’t be able to put it down because it’s just that good!

This book is everything I didn’t know I needed! Ms Bengtsson takes us on a wild ride that is at times laugh out loud funny, angsty, swoony, frustrating and devastating. The relationship between Dani and RJ is both an enemies-to-lovers story and a story about finding out who you really are and what happens in your life is really under your control no matter who says differently…it just may take a little time for that realization to become apparent.

The moment I started this book which is fabulously narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter, I was immediately addicted to the tale that Ms. Bengtsson was weaving. RJ isn’t having the career he thought he would as a solo artist so he decides to wallow in his perceived failure and this is where Dani enters the picture. These two are a freaking hoot when they first meet… she’s not happy he lives there for so many reasons that you’ll find out when you read this book. But as the months move on and their “war” so to speak, changes both of them! There are moments that I won’t spoil for you, but suffice to say everything that happens in the book after these moments are exhilarating, heartbreaking but also rejuvenating for both Dani and RJ!

This is a not to be missed book by Ms. Bengtsson because it will give you every emotion you’re always hoping to have when you read a book!!

With this second book in this amazing series, we get so much backstory on Raven and Otto. I can completely understand the protectiveness that was displayed in book one and this book too. And talk about breaking me… there were moments while listening to the amazing narration of Connor Crais and Desiree Ketchum that I had to stop what I was doing because it was so overwhelming.

Ms. Jackson has written a story that is gripping yet filled with tender moments that had me swooning. There are so many layers to Otto and his love for this woman that is completely off limits because he’s his best friend’s little sister. But their bond started so many years ago that as Raven has matured it’s become difficult for both of them to ignore. When Raven comes home one day, the home she shares with her brother and his family and she witnesses the unthinkable, IYKYK, it’s time for Raven to get her own place and this when things really get interesting for Otto and Raven.

I loved the witty banter between these two. Their ease of conversation is counterbalanced with some awkward moments but fit with their story so well. As we delve into the past and Otto one night helps Raven their relationship changes, but can it be as they say… for just a while? There’s an internal war within them both, but their chemistry is THROUGH THE ROOF HOT!! Mr. Crais and Ms. Ketchum had me enthralled throughout the audiobook, but the very emotional scenes along with these spicy moments left me gasping.

This book is so much more than I expected and the emotional journey I went on is one that will stick with me for a long time to come. There are consequences for actions but also redemption and forgiveness that makes unrequited love beautiful and exactly what Otto and Raven need and deserve.

I love all the worlds that Lexi Blake creates and with his first book in a new series, not only do we get a phenomenal story, but we’re with the second generation kids from a previous series. This book focuses on Josh, Grim and Nicole. Josh is the son of Sam, Abby and Jack; along with his adopted brother Grim, they’ve set their sites on Nicole as the woman they want to have in their life and create a family with. As is to be expected with a Lexi Blake book, Nicole has a past that she’s running from and being with Josh and Grim wasn’t on her bingo card this year!

One thing I love about books from Ms. Blake is how she melds together all her worlds. This book is no exception. We’ve got the gang from Bliss and McKay-Taggert in this book and I was giddy with excitement with every scene they were in. This became especially fun because I was listening to this book brought to life by Kitty Bang, Lance Greenfield and Christian Leatherman. Mr. Leatherman is a new to me narrator, so I didn’t know what to expect from him. I enjoyed all three of the narrators, but I will say that it was sometimes difficult to differentiate between Lance and Christian as their voices are somewhat similar. About halfway through I had it figured out though.

This book is filled with so much heart, passion, love and steam!! Josh and Grim did everything they could to show Nicole the love they so desperately wanted to give her and felt she deserved but with her past, Nicole was reluctant to accept it as she didn’t want to endanger either of these men because of her feelings for them. She clearly didn’t understand that whatever comes her way, not only would Josh and Grim do anything to protect her, but everyone in their world would do the same. The level of suspense in this book was just right for this story. I was fully invested and as the story hit it’s peak on the suspense side I was on the edge of my chair waiting to see how it would all play out.

This is a perfect start to what I’m sure is going to be a great series. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Willow Fork!

This first book in the Rosewood River series captured my heart from the moment I started the book. Adding to why I loved this book so very much was the phenomenal duet narration by Andi Arndt and Connor Crais. There’s just something about the way the embody the characters that I listened to this book as much as I could on any given day…you know between, working and other day to day tasks LOL.

We met Easton in Beating Heart when we met his twin sister Emerson. I was so excited that we would be getting his story first. This man is so protective of those around him, but as we find out in this book, he’s most protective of his heart; and for a very good reason. Henley is a newly graduated lawyer, who’s as smart as a whip, and she’s being mentored by Easton, since her father was Easton’s mentor and a Partner in the law firm Easton and now Henley works for. The tension from the first day they started was on point!

Henley is a woman that has worked hard her entire life and while it seems like she didn’t have to given her family name, there’s a reason. As we get to know her, my respect for her grew immeasurably. She’s also a woman that doesn’t trust easily, so between both of them, it’s somewhat of a battle for them to become more and more entangled in all the right ways.

I love how their story builds and that we get to see them in action on the law side of the story. But I especially loved how the Chadwick’s really drew her into their family which is something Henley has never had. Theirs isn’t an road, and there are some bumps both big and small and the heartfelt moments were so beautifully written and narrated that I was a little sad when the book came to an end.

This is a wonderful start to a new series. Do Easton and Henley get their HEA? Can they both get past the hurts of the past allowing them to love freely and forever? You’ll need to read and/or listen to this book to find out. I’m ready for what’s coming next in Rosewood River!

I’ve loved this series from the very beginning and this book focuses on Waylon and Harlow. Talk about an emotional opener though. I so appreciated the trigger warning Ms. Montgomery gave us too. It didn’t deter me but it also somewhat prepared me for what I was about to listen to.

Waylon and Harlow have known each other for several years because he used to date her older sister so there’s quite a bit of an age-gap between them. Harlow has experienced more in a few short years than most of us experience in a lifetime. What started off as something somewhat innocent as part of a group chat leads to feelings, confusion and some heartbreak. Little did she know when her heart got broken a little bit, it was about to be healed all the ways possible thanks to her bestie encouraging her and Waylon going after what he’s wanted for a long time. It’s only a matter of time though before it backfires!

I loved how this story progresses and we get to see the connection that Waylon has with Harlow even if there is an age gap. She comes to him looking for lessons in how to please a man and so begins so oh so steamy exchanges!! There’s an obvious connection between them, but there are a few things holding them back. Can they get past them though to find an HEA?

Their journey is emotional as they each have people in their lives that they love unconditionally and they will always come first and that’s something a lot of people wouldn’t understand nor put up with. This book also highlights the bond of twins and Wilder and Waylon, being the oldest of their family have their own struggles that challenge everyone around them.

I was lucky enough to listen to Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson bring this book to life and let me tell you something, I was so captivated by their narration that there were a few times I almost missed by exit on the highway or was squirming in my office desk chair during their “lessons.”

The past also comes calling and my heart was in my throat as situations come to a proverbial head in ways I certainly wasn’t expecting. I adore how Ms. Montgomery addressed certain situations and didn’t really hold back. Especially as important as they were to this entire story arc. This book and series is a definite must read/listen. Wilder’s book is next and I know it’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster unlike any I’ve been on recently!

I loved being back in Maplewood Falls and this time it’s with Levi and Fallon. It should be noted that Fallon is not happy to be in this quaint Christmas town especially since it’s with a man this is ALL ABOUT CHRISTMAS and not of her own doing LOL.

Fallon finds herself begrudgingly writing a story about this Christmas town and don’t you just know it she is walked in on by Levi the owner of the cabin she’s staying in unbeknownst to both of them that she’s not supposed to be there. And so begins a story that finds this so good looking man that absolutely loves the holidays and his mission to remove all the Grinchiness from Fallon.

I loved the chemistry between these two and as Fallon dives in to writing her article, the people of Maplewood Falls start to melt her icy cold heart and it doesn’t hurt that Levi is heating things up too! This book is that much more perfect with the wonderful narration by Aiden Snow and Andi Arndt, two of my very favorite narrators. Their ability to bring all the characters to life had me smiling from ear to ear.

If you love holiday stories that have some heat and a town that embraces all that this time of year brings to life then this is your next must read/listen!
