Good story, narration is lacking.

Interesting story and it seems well-written enough; but the narrator seemed to be "speed-reading" the book as if he were trying to finish an assignment and was running out of time. Barely any pause between sentences. At times, the way he read the chapters made it feel like one giant run-on sentence.
