I wouldn’t have stuck thru it if I’d known…

This book was a little all over the place. It really didn’t start to come together for me until chapter 32, so I was getting frustrated it was dragging a bit. I stuck with it & some chapters I couldn’t put down. Narrators we’re superb in every way! I just loved Olivia & would crack up out loud from her dialogue! I was disappointed in the ending, thought it would have been better with more characters at the end to have been at fault. Deedee’s ending was just stupid.

Completely Addictive Listening Ahead

Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced so many emotions from listening to a book like this one. Initially I wasn’t quite sure of the context of this book and started listening blindly, but after the first and second chapters I was totally hooked and binge listened to it within a couple days.

This narrator was spot on and I felt for her hook, line and sinker. Really she was perfect for this book. Let me say this I’m not a mother but I had always wanted to be, but sadly I was medically unable to, so my emotions were really triggered a lot.

So many times while listening I would literally gasped out loud. Hearing this mother’s account of what probably many mothers experience but are not bold enough to speak about was really eye-opening. I also thought the ending was great this really is a must read!

Just meh. Once you found out Danny was alive, the ending was predictable. Narrator wasn’t that entertaining, it took my awhile to get through this listen.

Love this narrator she is so animated and makes the characters come to life. I loved the story it reminded me of the movie the village but I’m like that movie that had a terrible ending descending I thought was good.

Emotional Journey

Disappointing

Saskia was spot on per usual with her narrating skills. I liked the general idea of the story. It was a little creepy & the characters were great. The ending was very disappointing & lame. I was also surprised at so much vulgar language in this story. Most of it was not necessary so I found it annoyingly overkill.

Couldn’t Stop Listening

Narrator was terrific! I love her! Story line was gripping with good twists. I will look for more books from this author to listen to.
