First of all, I want to say I am a die hard fan of Dannika Dark's writing. I have some predictions on the characters in this series I will keep to myself. But, I will not be surprised to read them on the upcoming books. I would have liked this book to have a couple more chapters to further develope the nuances in the house. ( Virgil in protective wolf form and aloof Lucian purring (Love a Cheetah) laid across Mercy's legs)

It felt like without the Tak/Hope and Melody/Lakota banter, the other personalities fell a little flat. I only laughed a couple times. And yet, I cannot wait for the next story arc. I am guessing it will be Virgil or Lucian since they had so much page time in this book. Always a fan.

Disappointed couldn't finish the story

I have listened to several books by this author and liked them. This book, however, reads like a beginner's rough draft. The characters are bland and don't connect. Worst of all is the narrator's voice. I couldn't finish it. I will still read/listen to books by this author, but I will definitely avoid any with that narrator

Bland, stale, boring. I tried to give it a chance. I listened to half the book before removing it from my library. I like more depth of character and better development of the story.

Depressing books. I could not even finish the series, it was so bad. It was a horrible story line and even worse character development. I really tried to finish it, but every time I would go back to listen, I kept thinking to myself I would rather have a tooth drilled than listen to another page in this book. I am absolutely shocked the reviews are so high.

Bad Narrator.

This narrator stinks!
She reads too fast and reads like she is in a hurry to get through the story.
love the first three books and have listened to them several times. This book has a different narrator. Her accents and voices are not the same and her pronunciation of names are off from the first three books.
