The doctor lecturing has a pleasant voice. There is a lot to learn but its given in an easygoing style with lots of explanation. He's the type of teacher kids seek out at college. This book focuses on kids. But this author has a couple extra books. Medical School for Everyone and Medical school for Everyone emergency department. All three are great. Plus there are two medical history books that are interesting this author wrote. Good reading for everyone.

Way too long

There’s not much to this book. Parts of it sound like he has a ghost writer, Some area sound like a journal,(which is what I expected) In other sections he sounds like a whiny little boy. It’s very possible in the fishbowl life style and the tragic death of his mum stunted his emotions but by this much?

Great Breathing Exercise!

With COPD, a coughing fit can take me into a full blown panic attack. So I've been looking for a breathing exercise that will calm my nerves and help gain control of my breathing once more.

I needed something that would control the pace of my breath. It needed to be calming yet short. This 10 minute exercise is perfect. I would suggest this to anyone with panic attacks, high anxiety, or tense. Best yet, it's free to prime members.

I was looking for a calming , tension relieving breathing exercises. This is not it. if you want to learn why to use breathing techniques, you'll learn why here. If you want guidenence , look elsewhere.

Gay vs Christianity

I’m not sure if I agree or disagree with Mr. Lee’s interpretation of biblical verse. What he said made sense but I plan to pray for God to enlighten me. As it was, God lead me to this book as my new son just recently transitioned and I had many questions heavy upon my heart.

This book taught me how a Gay Christian felt while struggling with his faith. The author tells you both sides of the debate, leaving you to decide for yourself. It opened my eyes to ways many Christians act in very unchristian-like manner. It reminded me than as a Christian I should be showing my love, not judgement. “Love the sinner and hate MY OWN sins” is one of my favorite quotes.

If you want to know more about Being Christian and Gay...If you have a Gay child and want to understand them better...If you want to learn something new...this audible book is for you, It’s read by the author and you can feel his passion on the subject. I would suggest purchasing the paperback too. You’ll want it to take note or to refer back to in the future.

There’s not much substance to the book and I can’t tell if the main reader is lousy or if the book was that bad. It was boring,boring, boring. Very glad I didn’t have to pay for this book.

Slow to go

The plot starts out slow. Slow enough that I nearly stopped listening. About 3 hours into the book, it picks up. Finally, I realized I didn't want to put it down.

Boring and controdictive

The "science" of the book contradicts itself. The characters are unrealistic and just plain boring. Definitely NOT worth buying.
