Love this author’s ability to turn topical subjects into liberal fiction & create characters we want to know. I would have given this a much higher rating, but I thought this deserved a more dramatic-or @ least more out of the characters-@ the end. All in all-great story about how family is whomever we choose to include in one, & that circle can be wide, & all the better to love a kid.
