To those wondering, no, the recording did not stop, it’s just weird pauses. It also tin me some time that they read the captions on pictures that we can’t see and sometimes in the middle of other sentences.

This one was rough for me. The concept was great and intriguing but the abuse and over the top actions of the MMC overshadowed it. There were a ton of repeated phrases and stories.
Most of the book is the MC worrying about being raped and talks about rape. While it’s an important discussion to have, it got to be too much. Also, this book talks more about going to the bathroom than I have ever seen.
The MMC was not redeemable. His best quality is that he refused to rape her. That’s it. That’s the good quality. Other than that he is just straight up abusive, going as far as to make the MC sleep on the ground because she refused to have sex with him. Like.
I shall not be moving forward with this series.
