Annoying. So very annoying!

First, let me say that I really did enjoy the narrators voice. BUT the pauses were sooo long! I kept thinking that my phone was shutting off. After five days of TRYING really hard to lusten, I just gave up.

I really enjoyed listening to this. Some people have mentioned that if you are used to Davinia Porter's narration that you may be better off reading the book. I don't think so. I liked the narration. BUT, then again, I have never particularly liked Davinia Porter's narration. I much prefer Geraldine James who narrates the abridged versions. I really, really had a hard time listening to the first book (A Breath of Snow and Ashes) that I purchased with her narration. As a matter of fact, I quit listening and bought the abridged version and much, much later listened to the unabridged version.
ANYWAY. . .Diana did a wonderful job with this book!! I highly recommend it!

Although the repeated use of the F-word did make me cringe because it is not a word that I use. I had to say that I found myself giggling! It reminds me of the stories that I had to read over and over and over to my kids. (How Baby Birds Balloon Burst by Dr Suess. I HATED that book and all of my kids LOVED it!)

Losing weight!

I have been using this for a month. I have consistently lost weight. I have already lost 17 pounds, which for me is nothing short of a miracle. I listen to the recording at night before going to bed and again when I first wake up in the morning. I have been setting my alarm an hour early in order to listen to the recording. I have to admit that most mornings I do fall back asleep. But I wake up refreshed and ready to go. This has really worked for me!!!
