Historia
Dr. Marty Makary is co-developer of the life-saving checklist outlined in Atul Gawande's best-selling The Checklist Manifesto. As a busy surgeon who has worked in many of the best hospitals in the nation, he can testify to the amazing power of modern medicine to cure. But he's also been a witness to a medical culture that routinely leaves surgical sponges inside patients, amputates the wrong limbs, and overdoses children because of sloppy handwriting. Over the last 10 years, neither error rates nor costs have come down, despite scientific progress.

Incredible wealth of health care system pitfalls!
Revisado: 04-14-25
I normally do not read these types of books, but I was referred to this book from another book that I was reading. Once I started going through the chapters, I really started to understand how important this book is, because it sheds light on things an average person would never consider. The information held within this book is so important about healthcare and the healthcare system. that I am very glad that I purchased this book. There was enjoyable to listen to, but a little annoying at the beginning of each chapter as it was always a little chopped up. Thank you for the book. well worth the reading journey.

In a time when Washington, DC and the country are more polarized than they have been for decades, John McCain is the rare public figure who has earned the respect of people on both sides of the aisle. He is a model for bipartisanship and political integrity. In his 40 years in politics, McCain has never been afraid to buck trends or ruffle a few feathers. His words are more important today than ever.

Historia
Like so many other things in our world today, the traditional ways of selling real estate have been disrupted and displaced by technology. Traditional "for sale by owner" (FSBO) has changed quite a bit from the days when you put the ubiquitous red and white sign out front. The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) that Realtors depend on hasn't changed much over the years, but technology has enabled new approaches that benefit home sellers and buyers.

Was really looking Forward to reading this book but it started out with a lot of chest generalities I find it to be quite boring I fast forwarded through some of the chapters and came along some chapters that were OK but in general I didn’t even finish the book it was a waste for me.

Revisado: 08-18-18
I do lots of Audible stories but Ready Player One was a huge treat. I was hooked and didn’t stop until the end. Wish more books were written like this. Now looking forward to reading/listening to another one like this, the narrator was 100% PERFECT! Bravo

All was really interesting, following his recommendations and I have purchased a few more copies to share with others
Only negative is the narrator, horrible, robotic, really boring to listen too frankly, he should have used the narrator of his first book he was really engaging, enjoyable to listen too. Not sure why he didn't pick him again.
