Historia
You can say goodbye to today's Internet, New York Times best-selling author George Gilder says. Soon the current model of aggregated free content populated with "value-subtracted" advertising will die a natural deat. In Life After Google, Gilder takes listeners on a brilliant, rocketing journey into the very near-future, into an Internet with a new "bitcoin-bitgold" transaction layer that will replace spam with seamless micro-payments and provide an all-new standard for global money.

She used to work for the US government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn't even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning. Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They've killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.

Historia
Rafe Khatchadorian has enough problems at home without throwing his first year of middle school into the mix. Luckily, he's got an ace plan for the best year ever, if only he can pull it off: With his best friend Leonardo the Silent awarding him points, Rafe tries to break every rule in his school's oppressive Code of Conduct. Chewing gum in class - 5,000 points! Running in the hallway = 10,000 points! Pulling the fire alarm - 50,000 points! But when Rafe's game starts to catch up with him, he'll have to decide if winning is all that matters.

Was not the fun story I expected. It is narrated by a supposed juvenile but turns into a predictable story that bordered on boring

There's a lot of things we are not told

I would recommend. Not many books out on the Federal Reserve system. I found out a lot more than i expected!

Mark's tones and expression emphasize points that might get passed over if the book was read
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Almost a conspiracy theory. The kind of book that you might not want to discuss with anyone but a close acquaintance.

Historia
In Tibet, geologist David R. Montgomery heard a local story about a great flood that bore a striking similarity to Noah’s Flood. Intrigued, Montgomery began investigating theworld’s flood stories and - drawing from historic works by theologians, natural philosophers, and scientists - discovered the counterintuitive role Noah’s Flood played in the development of both geology and creationism.

DRY DRY DRY!!!
Revisado: 11-06-13
Would you try another book from David R. Montgomery and/or Gary Telles?
No. Narration is terrible and content is way toooooooo dry
What was most disappointing about David R. Montgomery’s story?
The Story, What Story?
What didn’t you like about Gary Telles’s performance?
Just too professorial. No intonation in his voice. Like listening to a dull lecture
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Rocks Don't Lie?
Just would not have even started it. I did not finish it.
Any additional comments?
Don't waste your money unless sleeping pills are not available
