Historia
A movement called ‘deconstruction’ is sweeping through our churches and it is affecting our loved ones. It has disrupted, dismantled, and destroyed the faith of so many, and this book can help you not only understand what’s happening but also stand your ground and respond with clarity and confidence. In this seminal book, Alisa Childers, author of Another Gospel?, and Tim Barnett, creator of Red Pen Logic, will help you understand what deconstruction is, where it comes from, why it is compelling to some, and how it disorients the lives of so many.

Historia
Homicide detective J. Warner Wallace applies ten common rules of evidence to make the case for Christianity in this completely updated and expanded edition of the apologetic classic. A devout atheist, J. Warner Wallace couldn’t imagine believing in the Christian faith—until he applied the same step-by-step investigative process he utilized in his work as a homicide detective to the case for Christianity. In light of the ten common rules of evidence that he’d used to solve crimes throughout his career, Wallace realized he could no longer deny the truth of Jesus Christ.

Just the facts...
Revisado: 09-17-23
This book is great for those struggling to understand how to trust the truth of the Bible, with an emphasis on how we can trust the Biblical account of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Wallace uses easy to undersand analysis to explain how it is rational to trust in Jesus. We don't have to have "blind faith" because there is enough evidence around to support our faith. This book is also good to teach us how to share and defend our faith. Even though the majority of us that were not called into full-time ministry as evangelists, pastors, missionaries, we are still commanded to share the Gospel to everyone around us (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 3:15).

Getting beyond our own cultural assumptions is increasingly important for being Christians in our interconnected and globalized world. Learn to read Scripture as a member of the global body of Christ.

The recording has issues, where words were cutoff or there wasn't a break between chapter or speakers. This wasn't the case for the other 12 books though.

C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the Inklings met each week to read and discuss each other's work-in-progress, offering both encouragement and blistering critique. How did these conversations shape the books they were writing? How does creative collaboration enhance individual talent? And what can we learn from their example? Bandersnatch offers an inside look at the Inklings of Oxford, and a seat at their table at the Eagle and Child pub.

In high school, he joined a Bible study to disprove the Bible, but ended up following Jesus instead. Later, his parents followed Jesus, too. This is the subject of his first book, Messy Grace - holding on to the truth of God's Word while being filled with grace.
