I have listened to this Bible cover to cover every year for the past 10 years. I love almost everything. I am not a fan of the songs in the NT. Other than that, I highly recommend.

Well worth the few hours

I had the pleasure of meeting Seth Erickson at a recent conference, and little did I know that this chance encounter would lead me to his audiobook, "How to Hack Humans: Storytelling for Startups."

Meeting Seth in person, his humor and storytelling skills were evident right from the get-go. So, when he mentioned his audiobook during our conversation, I couldn't resist giving it a listen.

Let me tell you, it was a game-changer! Erickson's ability to seamlessly blend humor and practicality in his storytelling advice is nothing short of brilliant. His audiobook reads like a delightful conversation with a close friend who just happens to be a startup storytelling guru.

What truly sets "How to Hack Humans" apart is its actionable nature. Erickson doesn't just talk about storytelling; he provides concrete strategies that startups can implement immediately. It's like having a seasoned mentor guide you through the intricacies of crafting compelling narratives.

Back to the basics!

Shepherd Leadership is a book for both business and ministry (I am an ordained minister and a small business owner). Pastor Owens takes you on a journey of self-discovery for new leaders or a health check-up for seasoned vets. Shepherd Leadership challenged my leadership by taking me back to the basics and forcing me to assess what's really important in life. Pastor Owens, in his book Shepherd Leadership, takes us back to our leadership roots and reminds us we don't have to invent new ways of thinking and styles of leadership, rather we are called to emulate the greatest leader of all time - Jesus Christ. This is a short read that gets to the point about why we should emulate Christ, and how we can accomplish that monumental task. Pastor Owens inspired me to re-focus and challenge myself in 2023 and measure what truly matters in both ministry and business. I recommend this impactful piece of business literature to everyone currently involved in leadership and/or those who aspire to great achieve great things in leadership. You won't be disappointed - I wasn't!.

No Ending!

I loved the twists and turns. There was a lot of thought put into keeping the reader engaged. The issue I had was leaving the end hanging in that way. I won't ruin it for other readers, but I felt there was really no closure. One more chapter would have gotten a full five star review.

I loved the real life examples. That always helps me connect the theoretical to the practical. The material was well written and easy to follow. My only suggestion is to use more people during recording. One voice for all characters, both male and female, is the hardest part about following these audio books. -Dr. Luke

I have been in love with the Teen Challenge program since I worked with them 8 years ago. This book fortunately has a great narrator and an even better storyline. Please do not hesitate to purchase this book and you too may have a different perspective on our youth today.
