Historia
Here are 2 classic thrillers by a master of suspense. The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde> explores the split nature of man. Dr. Jekyll, a respectable man, transforms into an alter ego named Mr. Hyde who carries out all the wickedness Dr. Jekyll represses. In the body of Mr. Hyde, Jekyll finds freedom from the bonds of social convention but soon finds himself lured deeper into violence, and ultimately murder. The second tale, Markheim, tells of a robber named Markheim who murders a shopkeeper on Christmas day. Award-winning British narrator Ralph Cosham does justice to these 2 bone-chilling tales.

Outstanding story and especially narration
Revisado: 07-21-24
Everyone knows the classic story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Stevenson is known for his wonderful choice of words. Listening to the audiobook is a better experience than watching the many adaptations of the story.

Science buffs will find it fascinating
Revisado: 02-17-24
If you like science, you will really enjoy following the scientists as they attempt to identify and neutralize a deadly omicroorganism that has landed on earth onboard a satellite. Really great book! David Morse is the very, very best narrator that I’ve heard on the many audiobooks I’ve listened to. I wish he would narrate more audiobooks!

Historia
While much was written in the wake of Lee Harvey Oswald’s assassination of President John F. Kennedy, few journalists stopped to ask who Oswald really was, and what was driving him. In Oswald’s Game, Davison slices to the core of the man, revealing Oswald’s most formative moments, beginning with his days as a difficult but intelligent child. She traces his erratic service in the Marine Corps, his youthful marriage, and the radical interests that prompted him to defect to the Soviet Union.

Great information on Oswald
Revisado: 02-23-21
The more I learn about Oswald’s personality, the more I am convinced he shot Kennedy. He was a narcissist who wanted to change history.
