If you value truth and base that on the words of the Bible, then no this isn't a good book or way to interpret prophecy.
Example: Chapter 8, around 6:20 mark: Eckhardt states concerning "How do I know if this is my will or God's will? What I always tell people is that the will of God is following the desires of your heart. Well pastor, how do I know if this is my desire or God's desire? How do I tell the difference between desires I have and those that God gives me? My answer to that is: If your heart is pure and you desire to do the will of God, you don't have to worry about your desires being wrong."
Then Eckhardt throughs out a Titus verse about pure hearts. This is dangerous interpretation. We need to compare the Word of God with the context it was written and not just pick and choose verses to support misguided interpretations.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Based on Jeremiah, you do need to be concerned with your desires. Jeremiah was a true prophet the spoke judgement on the entire area of Judah for not following God and for turning to their own desires.

Take the Word of God for what is says and don't base it on emotion or wanting to be something God hasn't called us to be. He calls us to be like the Bereans and search out the Word for the truth that's in it. Be careful folks.

I've listened to all of Goodwin's books on Audible, but I couldn't get past the first chapter of this one due to the narrator. It's just not good. Very monotone and not good change of voice for the different characters. Mark usually paints a good picture for what's going on in his books, but I couldn't get through this one with this reading. Please go back to Kevin Pierce.

Started out ok, but wow, did it go down hill. Poor characters, stereo-typical man gets all the girls and the women are overly described as super-model types, even the 12 year old character, which just got weird. Then the love interest ends up in an accident and is then with a serial rapist type. It just got too odd and dark and it didn't seem well written. I like Kevin Pierce readings, but this one was a complete train-wreck. I'm going to stay away from AJ Newman.

I had to return this. The performance was really odd to me. I hope to listen to or read CS's sermons later, but this read version just wasn't good to me.
