Historia
Sometimes you want comedy that comes from both the brain and the butt, and somewhere in between, maybe the spleen. Hampton Yount's third album, Able. is his follow-up to his albums Unbearable and Bearable, finishing out his trilogy of poorly named stand-up albums. Will there be more? Who knows! Wouldn't really be a trilogy then, hmmmm?

Historia
Mark and Giulia's life together began as a storybook romance. They fell in love at 18, married at 24, and were living their dream life in San Francisco. When Giulia was 27, she suffered a terrifying and unexpected psychotic break that landed her in the psych ward for nearly a month. One day she was vibrant and well adjusted; the next she was delusional and suicidal, convinced that her loved ones were not safe.

Important story but wouldn’t recommend
Revisado: 11-16-17
What is intended to be a moving and life-changing story comes off as a cheesy Lifetime movie. Mark’s story is very important to tell, but I feel like it could’ve been told in a TedTalk. There were many times when we were informed of his everyday, mundane activities that added nothing to the story. Though it is human to feel anger and resentment in this unfair situation, it came off as whiny to me. These stories are relevant to my life, coming from a family with mental illness and working in the psych field. But I wouldn’t recommend this one. The narrator doesn’t help. The different voices used were unnecessary for a memoir.

Historia
Barcelona, 1945: Just after the war, a great world city lies in shadow, nursing its wounds, and a boy named Daniel awakes on his 11th birthday to find that he can no longer remember his mother's face. To console his only child, Daniel's widowed father, an antiquarian book dealer, initiates him into the secret of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, a library tended by Barcelona's guild of rare-book dealers as a repository for books forgotten by the world, waiting for someone who will care about them again.

Great book and narration
Revisado: 04-14-17
Loves this book and loves how the narrator uses different voices for all of the characters. However, the chapter weren't aligned with the audiobook (had it as 16 chapters when there were many more) so my only criticism would be for it to be divided correctly
