It follows quite a few different people and couples, but they all are intertwined. it gets a bit heavy on the details, but interesting ending.

Could not put this book down, great reading and writing! I usually listen to books while driving, and this one was fascinating, but I did get a few strange looks from other drivers, during certain parts of this book... worth it. ;) Haha.

Very Sad & a bit of harsh Reality about Marriage

For a historical novel, it was actually pretty interesting, but for a normal book, it was a little bit long and somewhat hard to finish at times.

Very Gamer Friendly, but Worth the Wait

The beginning is very detailed and there are a lot of 80s references and gamer references, but it ended up being pretty entertaining overall and I don’t play any type of video games. Would definitely be more entertaining to gamers, but worth it for non gamers, if they can make it through some really detailed parts, lol. Really great book!

So much honesty and reality.

Honesty, who knew. Wow, fascinating story! It starts a little slow, but has a lot of business insight. I love his relationship with his Father. It is so refreshing when famous people are extremely honest. It cannot be easy, but really helps other people to feel like they are not alone in so many common everyday struggles that are not talked about.

Life changing, especially about the 3 parts of the brain.

Wow, a lot of new concepts that I've not heard before! I read quite a bit and it seems like some books have started to overlap with things I've already heard/read, but this book has a tons of new concepts! I love his ideas on how to talk people up from the reptilian brain, to the emotional brain, to the human brain. It's fascinating when he says that to help someone else in a crisis, you must start by talking yourself back to normal and then helping others do so too! This book has changed so many things about my life!

So Sad but so Good! Heart Wrenching, with a Twist!

It's very interesting if you can get through the gruesome parts. There were a few twists that I did not see coming. Very sad, but then so sweet and heart wrenching. I cried a few times and could not put it down once I got into it!!! I'm going to find more stories by this author.

a fun family story

My dad read this book to me when I was little. I love listening to it with my kids now. The narration was great, there were multiple voices for characters. This is a fun story about a boy and his butler going to the gold fields, and their many adventures.

I have read this book since I was a kid. It's awesome that they have it on here. All of the Sherlock Holmes books are true classics. Great read.
