What an utter disappointment
Revisado: 07-11-23
Spoiler - or maybe anti-spoiler - alert.
The story was good and retained my interest. I was invested in learning what was going on and what would happen next.
Then apparently the writers either ran out of any ideas for the story, or maybe they got bored. It just ended with no closure, exposition, or even a logical stopping place.
Given the names associated with this production, I’m very disappointed.

Historia
Written by descendant Arthur T. Terrible Narration
Revisado: 11-15-15
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I just enjoyed listening to Fortune's Children (about the Vanderbilts) and looked forward to this book. The story seems promising, but the narration was awful. The reader was completely unmodulated - everything was rapid and at an uncomfortable pitch - rather like a tv furniture store ad. I'm returning it - couldn't get more that 4 chapters in.
What other book might you compare Crazy Rich to and why?
Fortune's Children about the Vanderbilt family, in the subject matter.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Michael Prichard?
Frankly, anyone.
