Historia
Choosing the right school can require lots of research, especially when you're on the Spectrum. It's not just finding a college with majors you are interested in, but also figuring out which schools have support services and programs that match your needs. Eric Endlich has created a huge database on his website that lays it all out. He also advises students privately in his college counseling business that he founded because he saw too many students on the spectrum going off to college and having a hard time. He thought he could help, and now he's switched his focus from psychotherapy to ...

Great perspectives from those who have been through it
Revisado: 02-05-25
Confirmed so many considerations and included some great references and tools to use. Great to listen for students and parents.

Historia
Why is Miami… Miami? What does the heartbreaking fate of the cheetah tell us about the way we raise our children? Why do Ivy League schools care so much about sports? What is the Magic Third, and what does it mean for racial harmony? In this provocative new work, Malcolm Gladwell returns to the subject of social epidemics and tipping points, this time with the aim of explaining the dark side of contagious phenomena. Through a series of gripping stories, Gladwell traces the rise of a new and troubling form of social engineering

Overrated
Revisado: 12-18-24
This is a meandering set of stories, most of which are seemingly designed to advance a woke agenda. The very few insightful observations don’t warrant the time needed to invest in this read. It’s also clear that a physically frail Malcolm Gladwell does not appreciate the value of collegiate athletics with his over-the-top criticism of how universities value athletes.

Did not eat own dog food
Revisado: 01-20-23
From an academic perspective this book is OK. However, they clearly did not do any market research with regard to the narrator. The bad reviews are more than justified. It is impossible not to picture him sipping tea with a pinky in the air in his smoking jacket with his nose in the air as he weaves this yarn. Most hated things uttered “COCA”, “MVBP”, “Sensible Technologies”
