This is why I started reading books by Kristin Ashley during her Rock Chick and Dream Men days
I loved every moment.

Amy has a way of pulling you into her stories, not too different from casting out a line with irresistible bait, tempting you with a little jiggle, and reeling you in the moment you bite.
I was all-in from the middle of chapter one and struggled between wanting to quickly find out what happened next and savoring the experience of each well-timed discovery.
Benny Lament-o and Esther Mines' characters were incredibly complex, relatable, and transparent.
Sometimes Amy's expressions of their emotions and actions drew a visceral reaction from me, and I sat there dumbfounded.
Bravo to Amy for understanding the need for a break from the intensity of her storytelling and giving me and my heart a chance to regroup while I was entertained by the somewhat benign interview outlining the story.
Set in the early '60s with the benefit of late 1960's hindsight, this story is rife with the push and pulls of the era. Racial lines were still very visible in everything from establishments to politics and approved relationships. What it could not color was Benny's piano playing, Esther's voice, and their love for each other.
I finished this book on Christmas Day feeling as though I had just given myself the best gift. Thank you, Amy Harmon.

This is one of the best romantic suspense books in a series that I've listened to in a long time. The fast pace of the storyline kept me listening and the lives of the characters of all three books were interwoven so seemlessly I would have thought they all played a main role from the beginning. This book was a masterpiece and Therese Plummer gave a great performance. Her timing was great and I enjoyed the accents.

This is a wonderful story of love lost and gained. Olivia is given the 'opportunity' to come into her own and grab life by the horns when her husband leaves her. Me being the hopeless romantic, before listening, hoped they would get back together, but after an hour into the book I was hoping for anything but that.

I have to say that the author, Jennifer Theriot, did a great job of weaving a feeling of fulfillment and a sense of love around the main and secondary characters. There were a lot of instances to learn as Olivia gained the self-confidence she'd been lacking. The author did a great job at developing Olivia's character and allowing the listener to get to know her.

I enjoyed the fact that this was a love story with mature characters that still had a lot of life to live. I also liked the fact that the author showed as much attention in the love the main characters had for each other as they had for their families and friends. I believe it rounded out the storyline.

I'm so glad I got the audio version of this book because there were so many wonderful surprises, but I'm not going to give them away.

This love story was well written and well rounded. Great job Jennifer Theriot.

I adored this book. Kristen Ashley' s masterful use of words to ring emotion from her readers catches me by surprise everytime. Just when I think she's headed one way she switches things up and I find myself in an even better world.
The land she created for Nate and Lily is no exception and their emotion-filled story was better than a pocket-full of great dreams.

I held out reading this book because I didn't want to see this series come to an end. I can't believe I waited as long as I did. The story of Noc and Franca was beautiful and done in a way I have grown use to Kristen Ashley doing. It was simply superb and as usual I didn't want to leave the world she created. Thank you Kristen and Tillie Hooper for another 5- star listen.

Take one strong-minded woman who has been raised by and on the sea and one brooding yet captivating captain that comes to her aid and you have yourself one smoldering adventure.
Prudence Drake's passion for life lands her in a world of trouble and in the hands of Captain Jasper Blackmore. Jasper is taken by the spirited young beauty but his current life has no room for love.
I liked the chemistry between these two and I could appreciate the complexity of feelings Jasper worked.

Amanda Mariel weaves wonderful worlds on the sea and land and James Young pulls you in with his performance of this story.

I lost sleep on this book. I had a very hard time putting it down. I raced against myself because as much as I wanted to see what happened next I never wanted it to end.
This love story went through so many stages I felt rung out way before I got to the end. I laughed, cried, cheered and found myself smiling wide. If you even think about reading this book in secret just make sure you are all by yourself because Amy will pull the emotion from you.
I longed and loved with Fern, hurt with Ambrose, laughed with Bailey, wished with Elliott and cheered on the sidelines for them. I can't wait to visit another one of Amy Harmon's worlds.
