Frustrated when Sexual Assault is used as a character development. The character already had trauma in the last book, which was out of the blue and graphic, this book had an extremely violent, graphic scene.

The book had an overall good plot, and was unnecessary to add in extra drama for the sake of it, as well as traumatic events when Gen was already moving forward with her point.

Won't be continuing with this series, but will attempt other books of the authors in the future.

Fantastic listen! Third adventure book she's published, but you don't need to listen to them in any particular order to appreciate the incredible, inspiring, and hilarious adventures she finds herself in, in the middle of the giant adventure.
I listened at 1.15x, so it sounds like she's talking to you.

Loved the story start to finish; funny and at times brutally crushingly honest about her adventure. For anyone who has already read/listened to her book Pants of Perspective, expect a similarly compelling, enthralling story.

struggled though half it before I gave up. wasnt a big fan of the plot or how the main Male treated people in the story. also, found the writting style didnt translate well into a flowing narration

Good slow burn but the heroine falls a bit flat

While I normally love all of Zapata's work, this one fell flat for me. The main character is portrayed like a whiny 16 year old who cries at everything even though she's 24 and is self employed. However, overall the story was decent and had a good slow burn you expect from her books.

The narration was good, though I expected more from Aaron's POV since there was dual narration.

Laugh until your sides hurt

A friend of mine recommended this book to me. Right off the bat the narrator was cracking jokes that had me laughing so hard I think my abs may have gotten a work out. When the book finished I couldn't believe it was over already! I can't wait to read/listen to her next one.
