Historia
Daphne always loved the way her fiancé Peter told their story. How they met (on a blustery day), fell in love (over an errant hat), and moved back to his lakeside hometown to begin their life together. He really was good at telling it…right up until the moment he realized he was actually in love with his childhood best friend Petra. Which is how Daphne begins her new story.

I did not expect to love this!
Revisado: 12-30-24
I absolutely adored this book! The author did a brilliant job of initially making me frown at the main male character—his struggles with weed and the aftermath of his breakup had me questioning him—but then completely turned the tables and made me fall in love with him in the most unexpected way. The humor in this book is spot-on, and the writing is fantastic. It’s clear the author did their research because the story flowed seamlessly, without any awkward or cringy moments. And, of course, it has just the right amount of smexy to make it irresistible

Deliciously sexy and so romantic!
Revisado: 12-30-24
I absolutely loved this story! The male lead’s deafness added such a fascinating and unique layer to the narrative, making his character incredibly compelling—and, dare I say, sexy—as his personality and relationship with the female lead unfolded. The female lead was equally impressive—intelligent, proactive, and wonderfully written. The attention to detail throughout the book was remarkable; it’s clear the author did their research, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in the story without any moments of distraction or discomfort. This book captured my heart—I loved it!
