A beautiful and heart breaking story. Loved it. A story if strength and sacrifice for your family. The narrator, Sandra Oh, was amazing. She should narrate more books.

Do not miss this book!
Amazing story and narration is the cherry on top.
I want to start it over and listen again. It really is that good.
I saw the movie and was good but there is no way it can touch this book. So many little extras to bring the reader awareness of what was going on in the world at the time.
Buy this book now. It’s one of the best things I have read in a while.

Great Story!

The story was wonderful. I laughed out loud several times. I love the kind of books that make me smile.
The one draw back would be the narrator who played Cooper. It was very hard to listen to with the halting narration. Even my hubby made a comment while I was listening and said poor narration.
The other narrators were wonderful!

I have finished listening to this book for my 4th time.
I loved it as much this time as the first.
Abby is the best! Great stories. I bought this book for my BFF and she just finished. She could not stop talking about it.
Her daughter bought her the next book and now I’m gonna have to listen to that one again so she and I can talk about it while it’s fresh in my head.
Love every single Abby Jimenez book!

Wow! Best Rom-Com ever!!

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the journey this book took me on over
The last couple of days it took for me to listen. My hubby also enjoyed. We found ourselves laughing throughout.
So good! This is a must.

Great story

I stumbled on this accidentally. I wanted something short to listen to.
I was only 30 minutes into this listen when I wanted to stop and write a great review at that point. It had me laughing out loud in my kitchen. It was a pleasure to listen and the performers were fantastic. What great chemistry!
Please take the time to listen to just the first 15-30 minutes, I promise you will
be hook just as I was.

Wonderful follow up to original

This was a touching and poignant follow up to the original Molokai book. The fleshing out of Ruth’s life from childhood to the end was fantastic. The history woven through the book was just as good as the first book.
Make sure you have tissue, I made the mistake of listening to the end while going my makeup, big mistake.
You can’t miss with this book.

What an amazing story

I am sitting in my car as I just finished listening to the book and I am in tears. What a wonderful story. Loved Jojo Moyes weaves a story between 2 time periods. The narrators were so good. It’s a book that I now have to sit with for a few days before I attempt another. This only happens with me then the book is overwhelmingly good. Don’t miss this one.

Wow! Jojo doesn’t disappoint!

I have read a few of her books. As always it takes me about 2 chapters before I can’t put it down. Once I’m in, I’m in. Great story. Wonderful characters. I loved the historical references of the pick horse librarians.
