Not as cookie cutter, really well written, very humorous and just well done - very much enjoyed it and the dual narration was excellent, love the voices of both!

Writing…yuck, did not finish, nothing original, even the sex scenes were rote and roll your eyes cringy. The narrators could not save, though I’m sure with good writing they would sound less bored. I wanted to try something new, if this genre is all like this, definitely not for me.

A great story to pass the time with laundry and packing. Good, short, clean romance with real characters and straight forward conversations between characters - not the vacillating inner dialogue and no action but outward lies for chapters on end that make you roll your eyes and tear your hair out. Recommend.

The narrator wasn’t the best. I read the whole series years ago and loved it; now… it doesn’t hold up as well. It was like a B movie that you couldn’t help watching even though you were rolling your eyes a lot and calling out the main characters.

Good, but…

I started this audiobook soon after I finished the 1st… I should have waited- there was just too many similarities. Still a good story, a little reminiscent of “To Catch a Thief”, steamy scenes are good, but seriously too much drawn out internalizing of things that should have been shown in interaction and dialogue. I thought about starting a new book many times, though I haven’t, I Still haven’t finished. Stopped and looked at reviews of 3rd book, and read another review very similar. I have one hour left and curious if I’m going to agree with the reviews that the heroine does something stupid. Liked the first installment a lot, smart and more real characters, not a lot of miscommunication and overthinking. This one… ok.

Solid book, a few times internal thoughts dragged but came into fruition soon enough. I like that there wasn’t this rush of a climax such as a kidnapping, etc… and something to conclude and then quick epilogue. It was just a really good romance with a HEA. Narrator is good, but a dual narration would be lovely.

Very faith based

I vacillated between smiling and rolling my eyes; excellent narration, good story lines as there were several interwoven in the 12 hrs, fun descriptions of secondary characters, and the children’s personalities and perspectives will win you over - but just a little too heavy on the praying etc…

A tad too drawn out

The last quarter was a bit too drawn out with inner turmoil- it started to become annoying and I just wanted it to be finished.

Unexpected

It was a perfect respite; no overly drawn out plot, dramatic inner thoughts or stupid misunderstandings. Funny and Smart characters, quick paced and witty writing. Well done - just well done.
