Historia
At a glance, the dwarves and gnomes of the Horkensaft Kingdom are two peoples who are worlds apart. The former are seen as hardcore traditionalists hell-bent on maintaining the status quo, while the latter only look ever forward and upward as they grasp at the future with both hands. And yet, these two seemingly opposing cultures serve as a counter-balance to each other, creating a civilization that draws upon the wisdom of the past to face new challenges.

? What happened.
Revisado: 08-24-22
I think this book is one of those one offs that just isn’t at the same quality as the rest of a series.
First of the boxy books I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Not sure what happened. Also the sound effects were annoying in some places.
Like they just said hmmm let’s throw something random here.
Overall quality of this book compared to the others in the series was subpar.

Slow start, finish strong
Revisado: 08-19-22
The start was very slow and was hard to connect with the characters. After the first few hours finally picked up with things happening. Interesting mix of sci-fi / magic. Worth the credit

Historia
Felix had risked everything to stop the threat of the Unending Maw. Except instead of death, he and his Companion Pit were transported to the deadly Void, a place far worse than the Foglands. The Maw is there with them, bonded somehow to Felix in a way none of them understand, but all of them hate. The three must navigate the desolate expanse of the dark Void, contending with voidbeasts, marauders, and the creeping influence of the Maw itself. It will take everything that Felix has—and more—merely to survive, let alone escape. All choices have consequences.

He is still alive and now in the void with an unfortunate companion. Pirates, Intrigue, Mayhem, Magic, Tyrannical Overlords set on Void Domination! Yep this book has it all. We even get to find out what is going on with our Party in the real. Honestly one of my absolute favorite parts of this book is how much I can relate with the story. Our MC is just trying to get “home” and everyone just won’t leave him alone.
You see many elements of the big bad. But some of them even though being “evil” can be seen as doing what they think is right, for the greater good. No one starts out thinking they are evil. Always have to take each step into it, for power, for saving someone else, for science. Their is also over the top evil overlord types who need a good beat down so don’t worry about that.
The MC is likable and not over the top carebear. He struggles with a fine balance between doing the right thing and leave me alone or I will burn your cities to the ground! I think everyone will enjoy his “devil on the shoulder”. The struggle is real.
The book kept me wondering what will happen next.
Excellent book. Can’t wait for number 3!

Historia
Felix's life on Earth had become a series of dead-end jobs, ruined relationships, and rotating apartments smaller than most postage stamps. By all accounts, even his own, he was a coward. Too afraid to move forward, to take risks. Yet when given the chance to choose between risking his life or walking away from a deadly encounter, he didn't hesitate. Moments before his untimely demise, Felix was snatched from earth and thrust into a magical world known only as "The Continent". Empowered by the "System", he learns that he can strengthen himself through combat and dedication.

LITRPG at its finest. Magic / Mayhem / Monsters
Revisado: 05-05-22
First off lets start with WOW and how refreshing this book is.
LITRPG, Fantasy, Assassins, Frost Giants, Magic, We got everything that makes a book good in here. I honestly lost sleep because I couldn’t put it down. I had to finish, had to know the next step. Spend the credit, pick this up. So good!
Also the author was able to make the MC likable and relatable. He moves through multiple moral quandaries and doesn’t go all full white knight on us thank the gods! I find a lot of authors make the MCs stupid and unpalatable, trying to push the whole, never will I struggle or do something morally objectionable. I loved the MC almost immediately and we got to learn about him before entering in the secondary characters. This is another huge plus on this book. I mean how many books out their don’t let you learn about the MC before hitting you with 100 secondary characters to the point where you are just lost. This allowed me to get invested in the story before all the really crazy happened. Let me tell you it happened. Excellent story, Excellent Ending. CANNOT WAIT TILL BOOK 2. Don’t pass this up.

But now Chance has figured out a way to defeat his master and free himself. His new life with his mother and sister is far from easy, and freedom has its own perils. Normal life is hard enough, but even in a mundane-looking high school, there are paranormal threats from both sides of the mystical fence.

Surprisingly entertaining and good
Revisado: 09-03-21
I initially picked this up as I was in between releases of my other series. I was pleasantly surprised with how into the story I got and highly recommend this.
So this is kind off YA / coming of age story / with a bit of a dark twist. We have our escaped apprentice who just wants to be normal but the world just isn’t going to give him a break.
Instead of going Uber hero (thank god he is not) he uses a bit of good and bad to accomplish the goals of the story. It also helps that he meets a hot chick day one of his new school.
I hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did!
Also writers need to get away from those pure lawful good types. Those goody two shoes really get on my nerves! On with the hellfire!

Great Book - Zero Story Progression
Revisado: 08-04-21
First off let’s start with is this an excellent book? Yes it is, very well written and helps you fall in love with the characters. Absolutely will have trouble putting it down.
Is this a good 4th installment for the series? No. Just like book 3 we have had little to no progression of the main character storyline. The last two hours of this entire book pushed the story forward and only a tiny bit.
Most of this book was spent on additional character story arcs, the problem with that is they are just left their in the wind. We hear from the emperor for a tiny bit has his story moved? Nope. We hear from rags, has her story moved? Very little.
The point is the writer is making so many loops and story arcs that the main characters are becoming sub stories. Shit we saw our old skeleton for a few mins then never mentioned again.
I don’t know what is going on but I am beginning to think the series is dead. Sad , I really loved the first two books

Historia
Dungeon Walkers brave the depths of the dungeons for personal gain - clearing a dungeon means dungeon points to purchase gear with, but more importantly, perks. Perks are the main reason Walkers put their lives on the line. Every time a dungeon is cleared the first time, a Walker gets a choice of three perks that could change their lives. Not every Walker makes it out alive. When someone dies in the dungeon, their soul is fragmented into four shards, which can be purchased for dungeon points.

Excellent Start Dungeon Crawler - Falls into Pre-Teen Harem
Revisado: 06-07-21
I want to start by saying 80% of the book is excellent. The characters are likable and we have a normal style litrpg dungeon crawler.
This is an interesting take on the LITRPG system as they have removed the normal cocky comic relief “system” with a shop which you purchase perks and skills. I really liked this approach. Then…..
It all went wrong. The last hour or so was a Pre-Teen Harem Fantasy Drama. I honestly was taken off guard and was like okay this most be important for the story. Nope. Just added some pre-teen style love in. The characters are late teens and beyond but they act like 12 year olds. Totally turned me off to the book. I kept hoping we would go back to the awesome dungeoning and kitty attack power. Nope….
The final reveal and cliffhanger was disappointing. I don’t expect I will continue to follow the series.

Historia
Infinite Worlds is the most popular VRMMORPG on the market. Its maps are so vast, developer Hard Rock Data utilizes a network of highly advanced artificial intelligences to control it. But it’s not without problems. That’s why Game Masters like Jeff Driscoll have jobs. The downside? He’s not allowed to play the game. Something about conflicts of interest and favoritism. His very boring and tedious job is to help players deal with the occasional bug that slips through the cracks and ensure they enjoy their time playing enough to give a five-star rating.

Resident Evil, Zombies, LITRPG all into one glorious package
Revisado: 03-24-21
First off let’s start with how this book literally kept me to the point were I refused to stop listening to it.
Our MC storms a castle, becomes a Mage, dies, becomes living dead, is woken by some scientists 800 years later, accidentally starts a zombie apocalypse, and now has to run by some zealots who want a new world order. Like can a guy catch a break. Their are twists and turns and a snarky system giving him updates.
Excellent flow to the book and character development. The flashbacks are nice to fill in the backstory and flush out the characters. As usual Travis did an amazing job with Narration. Definitely worth the credit and can’t wait for the next book in the series.

At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Amazing book, one of the best LitRPGs I have listened to in awhile.
Revisado: 03-11-21
So we follow this Aussie in his adventures in a magical society and attempts to bring his earth morals with him. Unlike most books who attempt this he doesn’t go full on social justice. I hope in the upcoming books some of his foolish choices bite him in the @$$ and he starts to grow and change to adapt to his new world. That is one thing this author does that so many fail at, it’s so refreshing to see. Besides all that the book is as I said excellent, it keeps your entertained and I found myself unable to put it down. Highly recommended for those who love litrpg
