Entertaining enough

Always challenged with how the very tough experienced heroine gets bested by amateurs in an effort to create suspense. Also the constant miss pronunciation of femoral is irritating. Overall not a bad book - just lacking some polish to be really good.

Not bad - but far from great

I have listened to all books in the series up to this one, some of the “filler” material gets a little irritating but entertaining overall. I just have to say that the author often mentions how “unusual” it is for the lead character to cry, yet since book 3 she seems to cry multiple times in each book - so it really has become the norm, not unusual. :-)

Absolutely the worst narration I have ever listened to. The author did himself no favors using what sounds like a horrible attempt at letting AI read the book for him. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! What a shame, I enjoyed the first 7 books. I returned this book - I just could not listen to that fake narrator - too bad.

I just wish that more than just the first 3 books of this series were on Audible - listening to the 3rd book in the series next, but that is the last one on Audible. Please add the others.

After reading a number of other reviews that cont a shocking number of negative reviews I was not expecting much. Well I found it very enjoyable - there is a bit of unrealistic portions, but overall I think it was and enjoyable read.
