Would you listen to Romancing Mister Bridgerton again? Why?

Absolutely. Julia Quinn has created a wonderful world full of lovable characters.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Penelope Featherington was definitely my favorite character. She is smart and funny, and most of all, a good person.

What made the experience of listening to Lady Fortescue Steps Out the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the different types of characters introduced.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sir Philip is a fun and interesting character. He has little shame and crosses easily, back and forth over the line, from noble to shady. He's creative and clever. I like that.

I'm already looking for more stories by M.C. Beaton

Mistaken Identities, Love, & a Treasure Hunt

What other book might you compare Holly to and why?

It reminds me Jude Deveraux's, The Princess, which is even referenced in this story. Another high-class wealthy woman paired with a seemingly lower-class man, at least, as far as she is concerned.

The book is very short but enjoyable. A fun read. I just wish the characters were a little more fleshed out.

Murders at the Museum

What made the experience of listening to Relic the most enjoyable?

I loved getting some insight into the inner workings of the Museum of Natural History. Despite the grisly deaths that occur, I want to visit now more than ever.

A wonderful book that I had read multiple times before. Now I get to enjoy listening to it. Great narrator.

An inconsiderate female lead, but I still love it

What did you love best about Slightly Dangerous?

I love how the Wulfric begins the story with an extremely haughty demeanor, but eventually unbends and finds happiness.

Any additional comments?

I've read this book multiple times in the past, and have only recently realized how Christine is rather inconsiderate and truly does seem to be attention seeking. For example, she'll hold up a whole party of people because she is playing and loses track of time And then she'll climb a tree in a dress, and be shocked when it tears on her way down. I have always loved the book and still do, but wish I didn't see these qualities in one of the main characters.

What did you love best about All I Need Is You?

I like the non-nonsense and extremely capable Casey. She's a great character, though I wish the book was longer so her character could be fleshed out a bit more.

What other book might you compare All I Need Is You to and why?

This book reminds me another by Johnna Lindsey, Savage Thunder. Another instance of a taciturn western character coming in contact with someone with a bit more refinement, and still finding love.

Have you listened to any of Sandra Burr’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not heard any of Sandra Burr's other performances But as usual, I wish the narrator would take cues from the book when deciding how to do someone's voice. If Casey is repeatedly supposed to show no emotion, and easily passes for a boy, why does the narrator make her sound girlish and full of emotion?

The Best Cinderella Story

What did you like best about this story?

I love the main characters. They are both such good people, and they deserve good things. And the Bridgerton Family makes me wish I could be a part of it.

Almost everyone sounds like an 80 year old man

What did you like best about this story?

I like the Malory family. Because the book is just one in a large series, you really get to know and like, even secondary characters.

Have you listened to any of Laural Merlington’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I don't really like how she portrays any characters. The men (and some women older than 30) sound like crotchety 80 year olds. And even when the book states that the main woman can speak without a Scottish accent, the narrator still gives her one all the time.

Any additional comments?

I wish Johanna Lindsey's books were narrated by another person, to give more options.
