I am left feeling confused. It was so good... but a couple characters in the end, just WHY?! 😭 ... and then a couple storylines felt like the relevance was lost, with no real conclusion.

AGAIN, so good... just felt a bit incomplete and like maybe there was a shift in the plot during the writing process.

Maybe it's just me and I need to do a reread!

SO CONFUSED...

This was an okay series... a bit repetitive and redundant, granted I did read all 3 of the main series. This one was supposed to be the last, and it had its ups and downs. However, at this point, I was highly invested in all the characters. I spent SO much time, never giving up when I started to feel that urge to, and luckily, it would grab my attention all over again.

Anyway, what has me so confused is that the very ending was incomplete. Completely rushed. A total HEA, which in normal circumstances would be a great way to end a very long and tedious set of connecting series.
But it did not. There were so many things left unfinished and unanswered. I could make a HUGE list. I mean, the main villain, as well as Lilith, are both unharmed and prowling. They were told this is just the beginning and to prepare for war. The whole main goal was to beat Lilith, and by the end, everyone was getting their HEA, and it's not mentioned. The whole " 3 pregnancies at the same time in the coven" thing never happened. Also, what's up with Frankie? Does that continue in the Wolf Witch book or something? We also didn't really get a precise and clear-cut update on Henley.
Also Bentley's mention to Cooper of his soon-coming soul mate.

I could honestly keep going on and on.

WHAT HAPPENED?!

I was soooo ready to have all this wrap up and be done with it. As lovely as the ending was, it felt at least half of a book too premature.

AM I ALONE HERE?!

(One last thing... it was very hard to distinguish the characters from one another until Vanessa did their voices as them speaking outloud. The characters private ruminations, as well as just the narrator portions, were all the same voice.)

I felt so drawn in, yet so confused. There were many plot holes, unanswered questions... and a very open-ended "ending". Feels like there should have been another book to patch up the holes and some of the character lines, not to mention clearing up the very last scene.

Other than that, it was great! lol

Tug wasn't my jam. I'm here for the M/F steam personally. The seggs club and Throuple'ing just wasn't for me. but Scooter, the next story made up for it.

All the books were pretty good but Snatch just wasn't my thing (personally). I'm not really into M/M when reading "romance/erotica", but to each their own. I didn't have a problem when they were featured in the following book as a couple raising a family etc. It was just the s*xually graphic scenes in the book prior that was too much.

OK, so... this was the most darkly twisted/abu**ve, albeit SAD book I've ever read, and that says a lot. I couldn't even stomach most of it... HOWEVER, I also could not stop listening. I kept waiting for redemption for the H's. THAT is what kept me going. I do prefer book 1/Riot, but this one definitely has you on your toes or getting whiplash. Definitely not my fav... I won't be rereading this one, although the ending was redeemable (sort of). I do look forward to book 3 though.

*EDIT:* Something weird is happening... even though I keep giving the "Overall" score a 2 star rating, it keeps auto-scoring it as a 5 star! I looked at other people's reviews who also didn't like the book and rated it low, and their "Overall" was also at a 5! Hmmm... 🧐

*ORIGINAL REVIEW:*
Were there some good nuggets in here to be plucked from the massive amounts of propaganda and (not so) non-chalant sidestepping from the main topic at hand? (Not even including how much she REPEATS her catchphrases to the point that my ears feel like they are ringing)... then, SURE!
But not enough to grant this book more than maybe a 2 star review at BEST, overall.
I have heard, read, and *know* all the little "nuggets" already.
Not even worth the $1.99 sale price or my time.

I just want to mention that I am usually never rude like this in a review. In fact, if I don't like a book, I usually just leave it blank and move on, because "to each their own" AND I understand this came from the authors heart and she has a right to pen whatever she feels needs to be said. However, it was just SO incredibly pushy with a very clear agenda that I could not stomach and felt it necessary to at least warn some.

I am not even a Conservative (which is who this book highly attacks), but the Liberal agenda was SO far left - t's no longer even on the map... and I have personal issues with extremes like that.

Very Black or White (no pun intended), and no room for Grey... even though that is what this book's color gives off as it's Smoke and Mirrors to draw you in.

But at the end of the day, others enjoy it, so you-do-you!

Book 1 : 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (best of the 3)
Book 2 : 🌟 🌟 (too similar to #1)
Book 3 : 🌟🌟🌟 (better than #2 bec it was very different from the other 2 books but still not as good as the first... no one beats Cam ;) )

Now... time to purchase Book 4 and cross my fingers.

I did really enjoy Tanners story, because I really liked him. I mean the Reese brothers are like unrealistic dreams. But, I did prefer the original story with Porter.

I truly enjoyed both books, and the epilogue was worth everything. Porter was kind of unrealistically amazing. Will give his brother Tanner a shot in the next book.
