Pervasive NBC misogyny and corruption exposed.

This should be mandatory reading in high schools across the US to better prepare our young people for the workplace. The discrimination and exploitation of women at NBC is so extensive and gross that the FCC should consider some form of broadcast license suspension, perhaps for 30-90 days. Ronan Farrow has done his Country a great service with this publication.

Excellent display of a bureaucracy in action

Very interesting and detailed look at the accident and bureaucracy’s protection of itself and exploitation of individuals for “socialism’s greater good”. Obvious Herculean effort by author to infuse book with numerous ultra-low-level people such as “Moose”, the true heroes of Russia that stopped this potential runaway disaster. The book’s narrative provides yet another example for the nuclear power, weapons, and cyber industries (countless other industries are susceptible, too) on the human ability to defy probabilities, rules, policies, and common sense and consequently stumble into allegedly impossible-to-occur disasters.

A thoroughly enjoyable read!

Enjoyable and scarily follows reality.

Genuine, gritty and awesome; however, this is not for children or young teens as there are several completely unnecessary, gratuitous sex scenes. They are completely out of character with the rest of the book.

Chicks meet Raptors

The information about raptors, though incomplete, was interesting, but much of the story was narration of Helen's and White's depressive activities, which I could easily have replaced with my friends wives' stories or my own wife's facile statements about nukes, global warming, or the endless statements about "bad television" that they spend hours a day enjoying.

Book obviously edited by some village in England's missing idiot. The totally out of place statements on nukes and global warming were like extra appendages on a human body. No doubt the media complex required those moronic comments. The oblique questioning of the American air bases in England ignores the essential truth that without those bases England would no longer exist, that they would absolutely speak German or Russian today on that isle if not for those bases and that they will remain there for decades to come to protect not only England but more generally help to defend Western Civilization. Without the latter she would not have the luxury to collect public assistance while pursuing her hobby, falconry, and watching "bad television" hours per day.

Awesome funny story with great science

Narrator added greatly to the story. Good story to read with kids, because it covers countless practical, interesting applications of science.
